Was there during Charlie. Staying at an All Star resort. Knew that we would be sent to our room I made a one night reservation at Beach Club. Moved the family there for the night it was great. Characters were there ate at cape May, got sent to room when Charlie went through. We’re able to walk around inside hotel afterwards. We did not check out of all star. Paid for the room at beach club. Well worth the extra money spent with smaller kids.

We were staying at Fort Wilderness last year in our camper when a hurricane came through. We had to take everything down and put our camper in a parking lot during the storm, but Disney put us in a Cars suite at Art of Animation. Our son was in a tent on the same site and they put him and his family in a room at another resort and let him stay the last three nights of our trip because all their stuff got soaked. We made the best of it and felt Disney went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

We stayed at Old Key West during Ian, so we were in a resort that was all separated accommodations and not connected to the “main” building. Because of that we just made sure we had some food in the room in advance, and then we stayed inside like we were supposed to during the storm. Disney did a great job keeping us safe, and couldn’t possibly have moved us to another resort because they were full with people who couldn’t leave as well as those evacuating other areas for safety.
