Sadly I have to agree. No company can fire out movies like a Pez dispenser without sacrificing something. It’s either quality or sanity. Supremacy or sleep.
As for Captain Marvel, I just can’t warm to her character. Tony Stark went from brash to broken through seeing where his actions had lead him. I see a woman as brash and over confident as she was at the start. There’s no arc just a self opinionated woman who thinks she’s superior to everyone else in the room. That’s why I’m not enamoured her story. I just don’t like her attitude. Just hope I’m proved wrong when she next appears.
I have every intention of buying a pair of tickets – when my theatre releases more standard showings instead of only 3D and ScreenX upgrades. I never pay for the unnecessary extras. They typically distract more than enhance the movie for me.
Chapek really planted seeds of destruction by not laying down good promotions 4 this film. I haven’t seen it so time will tell. I don’t understand why people want this movie 2 fail so badly & I don’t understand the anger around it. The Marvels seems 2 be a lighthearted 3quel. Wow the h8 is so uncalled 4.
I just wish the Entertainment Industry would get back to what they do best entertaining and stay out of ideological political agendas because it ruins films , no one cares if your diverse, no one cares if you politically correct , no one cares what agenda your following we just want something that’s good and entertaining.

Now that I can see the other comments, perhaps someone can answer something for me. Why is it a big deal if China prefers to emphasize that the movie is a sequel to Captain Marvel? Doesn’t that indicate the movie was popular on its own and not just lucky in its release?
