Netflix is greedy. I really want to watch stranger things but I’ll find another way to do it. Gouging the viewers and and trying everything to get the last pennies from us is unconscionable. $20/month?? Get real.
I was already considering canceling Netflix after season 5 of Stranger Things. Much of their new content is garbage. So are their restrictions. They really aren’t worth the current money anymore in my opinion. The new price increase will be the last straw.
I think Netflix is just greedy because 0.2% increase is pennies in the bucket for such a large company. They already charge more than their serivce is worth, they rarely change their selection constantly having issues with it loading and kicking people out of the app. People need to go a week without Netflix and hit them where it hurts see how they feel about the price hikes then.
It’s real simple.. there’s allot of people like me that are just waiting for the final season of strange things. And we are gone. I’m gonna get nailed for password sharing. Because my kids watch their Netflix at their grammas and out at OUR camper. It’s ridiculous!
I’ve been with Netflix since their DVD mailer days, but there are simply too many other streaming platforms available now for me to continue to put up with Netflix arrogance.
I canceled the moment password sharing was banned. They are one of the most expensive services with the worst quality content. I hope Karma comes for Netflix someday
That’s BS .. prices of everything are sooo high and people have to cut costs where they can. And to penalize those struggling to even afford a streaming service is complete and utter BS… 😡🤬
THIS is the reason I went to downloading this crap content. I’m glad to pay for good movies. But tv used to be free… Then came cable and still just paid the one price. NOW you have to pay for all these different providers and tip everything. I’m done.
Yeah. Go ahead, Netflix. I haven’t been a subscriber since 2007, and I have managed to see all the Netflix-exclusive content anyway…no shared passwords, either. Just get over yourself and quit crunching numbers where it isn’t actually helping anyone. Your business is entertainment, so you should be appropriately midway down the priority list. I love Stranger Things, but I don’t love it more than my family or my health. Netflix doesn’t contribute to either one of those. If consumers carry Netflix through this kind of price-gouging insanity, then it is on them, in the end. People become sheeple all too often…
Yeah, I canceled my subscription at the beginning of the year. They charged me twice after I canceled, but only refunded me one of those charges. I just gave up on Netflix and their money grabbing ways.
All these companies are just killing what fan base they have. I’m a senior citizen and on a fixed income . I’ve already cancelled half of paid subscriptions cos of price increases and added ads to the ones I kept. If there’s anymore increases I will have choice but to cancel. There just to many other ways to watch TV free besides being stressed out about u going to pay for it!!!
