I think dial of destiny is a great movie and perfect final chapter for indiana jones. I think it primarily underperformed at the box office due to 2 factors. One alot of people figured it would be available on streaming within a couple of months and didn’t want to spend the money at the theater. And 2 because the economic state of things for some people it came down to traveling over the summer or go to the theater
I never had the chance to see Dial of Destiny in theaters, I did find a shirt at walmart for Dial of Destiny so I bought that, by the time I had money to go see the film the time slots were anywhere from 5 to 9pm, some nights going past 10. I was disappointed that earlier viewings were not an option. I am going to buy Dial of Destiny when it comes out. I don’t go by critics or what the general public says about movies, I’ve found that they’re often wrong more than they are right.
The whole “Hateful” Goddaughter thing was forced and weird.
They could have included her and also focused on her father and not made her so bizarrely and unnecessarily Villianous
I think it’s terrible to remove Harrison and the gang. The reason the movie was bad was because of the girl in the movie she was a bitch.
And the worse actress I have ever seen. Plus Steven Spielberg didn’t run the movie. That was your problem. Wake up people. I am in my 70’s and have seen every one of the Indiana Movies. No one is better than Harrison Ford.
I have never relied on critics except to see previews- i decide for myself. As for Disney management have managed to destroy what Walt Disney started everything from the beloved characters to remaking the original animated movies to even setting foot onto their parks- DISNEY QUIT RUINING GREAT THINGS -DONT FIX SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BROKEN

It sounds like an old idea, a recoding!! Movie is with actors, scenery, audio!! Disney stop trying to reinvent the wheel!

Considering the trash Disney throws out, Indiana Jones is a wonderful breath of fresh air. I throughly enjoyed it.
