The behavior of “Line Jumping” is due to the entitled mentality of a self-absorbed generation that believes this is acceptable.
I can see if a mom and child leave and come back to use the restroom.
We have experienced the push bye and then listened to those who did this to us. They were laughing at how they accomplished it. We then excused ourselves and moved in front of them. No one said a word. My point is that is unacceptable for 99% of those who feel “Entitled”.
I also expect WDW to fix this and start doing its job to keep the WDW experience from dying entirely. This used to be a reason for being thown out of the park.
This is completely unacceptable, shame on them. We were at MK waiting to ride the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train ride. It was going to be about a 90+ minute wait. A lady in front of the people in front of us was holding the line for about 10-15 people, who came pushing their way through the line after we had been standing there for over an hour. When they got to the ride she did not get on. She was only there to hold their place in line. My guess is that they did this all day.
This happened to me a few years ago at Disneyland at one of the Halloween parties of all times. I was standing in line to get a photo with Maleficent, and a cast member was going along the line telling people estimated wait time based on where they were, it was about a half hour for me. Well 50 minutes later I’d only moved up a few feet and 3/4 of the line was still in front of me. Turned out quite a number of people closer to the front had been “holding spots” for groups of 5-10 or more for the photo session, with them stepping in as soon as their person reached the front. And the character left 5 minutes later. And neither me nor any others still in line came anywhere close to getting the photo we were waiting for. Left a lot of people VERY upset.
Kids going to the bathroom is one thing but 30 just jumping is another. Of course I also don’t agree with sneezing sneezing ahead of them. Just behave.

FYI… It is against Disney policy to cut any line, even for one person. They can throw you out of the park. As far as kids go, they have a potty pass that will let you rejoin your group. There is no such thing as holding their place.
Unfortunately it’s not against Disney policy. I messaged Disney about this and it’s not against their rules is just in their policy to be courteous about line jumping but not actually against it. They won’t get you out for it.
According to the Reddit post which you quote, it was not “over 50”, but rather “about 30 people” who attempted to join the rest of their group. Bad enough, I suppose, but in fact, it was the poster and their spouse who admit that they actually cut in front of the entire youth group. Not exactly a paragon of virtue.
They didn’t get their spot in line back. They were never in line. They cut ahead to be with their friends. Sorry….one or two…fine. But not 30….. Back of the line like everyone else
WDW has no standards. They don’t stop line jumpers, fights, or attempt to tell girls to put shirts on when they are barely dressed. It’s no place for children.
The magic is gone.
Isn’t this a story about how a large party politely let a couple go in front of them?
The poster says they were between 2 groups of 30, no mention of any line jumping. The group behind didn’t push past and it seems that the group in front let the couple go ahead.
If anyone at all “line jumped” it was the couple who wrote the post
If someone has to go, they should stop and let everyone go in front of them until the ones who left come back instead of advancing. That would prompt bathroom breaks before getting in line in the first place.
You are so right. When they allow women to wear lingerie tops with their shorts half unbuttons, or loose shirts that are completely open in the back that when the wind blows she has to grab it so it doesn’t fly open and they dont do anything even though they have a Supposed dress code. Things are out of hand
Punishment must stop the encouragement to break rules and recidivism for others..
Like kicked out of the park for blatant first offense. Second offense no longer allowed in any Disney property..
What’s the downside?
Better guest experience for those doing right and cleaning out the entitled inconsiderate
