Working at Disneyland was a dream come true before the pandemic. Now, the whole park operations is in shambles, cast member morale is at an all time low, managers have become rude and uncaring and will write you up for petty reasons, fights and arguments between CMs are more commonplace and guests are more unruly. It is full of unreasonable expectations, failing equipment and infrastructure, rude and unsupportive management, cuthoat coworkers, etc. So glad I was fired.
When did this happen. I was just there last weekend and rides went down from time to time in both parks, but didn’t seem like 18. Plus, this wasn’t a Holliday weekend . So what are you talking about
It’s time to close the darn parks and do some much needed refurbishing to pretty much everything I mean come on how do you expect things to last when they are running 12-15 hrs every day it’s not like Disney doesn’t have money to fix things.
Sounds like they need to Close the Park & Bring in Several Mechanic Crews /Specialists and Figure Out what’s causing the Issues & get the Rides Fixed- Rather than Bringing in someone to get the rides Temporarily Running rather than Truly Fixing the Issue’s.
Maybe time to Fire the People at the Top Managing Disneyland & Get Someone New Who Knows How to Solve Problems.
I’m Glad Disney World in Orlando doesn’t have the Same Issue’s.
I’m a pretty good mechanic, I fix cars, bowling alley pinsetters, arcade games, xerox machines, computers anything that requires hand and power tools. I’ve done a lot. But the one item on my list is amusement rides. If I’m taught right, it’ll be done right. Disney, let’s talk.
