“it may not be the most advanced roller coaster”

It actually was, and still is, very advanced in the way it can have multiple cars on the coaster at the same time, while most coasters can only have one car in motion at any given time. Technology Connections (YouTube) did a video explaining it.

Many coasters today can run more than one train on the track. For its time it was very advanced and still kinda is today, but there are more advanced coasters today.

  2. My mother and I went on Space Mountain when we first went to DisneyWorld when I was 14 years old. I will sure miss it.

Space Mountain has always been my favorite theme park ride…sad to hear it’s ending…hopefully something better is coming …

  4. I went to Disneyland when I wad 20, now 61, going on Space Mountain is definitely a last memory. Particularly even before I sat in the car. Walking from high around the space port was a great experience.

I really enjoyed Space Mountain. But that was 45 years ago, so I’m sure it is time to move on to the newer rides.
