We went to the Night of Joy concerts a few times but stopped going because of the horrible behavior of so many “Christian’s”. We couldn’t believe how there were so many unsupervised children and teenagers and how badly they behaved.
Kanto, I’m right behind you ! While I have seen some questionable activities at WDW during my visits, I have never seen a demonstration like the one described. A pure exageration !!!
Really an event from 2014 is news in 2023? And NOW we are supposed to believe what an obvious anti-Christian bigot spews on twitter. hahahaha – what a joke.
Just when I thought you guys could get any more desperate to have readers….let’s bring up things from 2014 and see what we can stir with this information. Give it up!
10 year old rumor with no pictures? 3 of my family members were working there at that point and are not aware of ANY of this. I am disappointed seeing this as the top story on a page I have followed from the beginning. A tik-tokker source is on par with wikipedia. How is this the top story today if it happened that long ago?
Not surprising. Groups like these want to shove their ideologies down everyone’s throats, even if it means using obnoxious behavior in public to do it…you know, as Jesus clearly intended. *hard eyeroll*
Why are you whinging about something from 2014? I was at Disney World during one of the Christian Group days, it was a special concert event Night of Joy and saw no problems.
I have however encounter special groups from other countries, hoarders of teens descend upon Disney and cause havoc.
Too. many so-called Christians have only a tenuous relationship with or understanding of Christian principles. The clearest example are the “Christian Nationalists” who are neither Christian nor patriots. But there are plenty of others across numerous denominations who are equally neglectful of Christian precepts in their own lives. (Hint: it takes more than showing up on Sunday or paying lip service to Jesus.)
I have heard some “not so great” things about this “Night of Joy” before. However, this goes back to 2014! What have their experiences been since? I’m not religious by any means, but I think rehashing something going back to 2014 while not discussing current experiences…if any….with this group, is unfair.

So it happened in 2014.

Propaganda. Straight up hit piece on today’s acceptable target for bullying – Christianity.
Jon
Exactly, thank you

Not sure if I believe this story or not. Without some real proof it’s just a story. It could be real or it could be made up.

Those r the worst people out bc they say Jesus told them to do it.

Sue, Like that would make it right. I question folks who hear voices.
Dodger
Dan, you just made Sue’s exact point. Different words, same outcome.

It does not matter who the people are or what group they are with it if they are causing trouble they should be banned from Disney for life !!

Took him long enough to say something about this 9 YEARS!!! Sounds like Insider was lacking contact for today!
