Its not just at Disney, the same attitude is projected at concerts, sporting events, conventions, holiday events, shopping malls, grocery stores…accept the fact there are some who just dont want to be there, but either have to, and or do it for others….no one ever said to please others you, yourself have to be happy about it. Sure attitude projection is toxic, and others can read it on you, and absorb it. Youre having a bad day (which it happens anytime, anyplace, even Disney) others may react the same too…
Dont forget Dads, have always been looked at the ones who are in charge….current day its Moms too, to get you here and there, pay for this and that, etc… you know parenting…..ever hear of it Dapper?….there is not one rule anywhere where (nor sign at the Disney Parks/Resorts it says our demeanor has to be on par every single day….this is life….there are ups n downs….
Sure the ideal situation is everyone is happy at Disney….however add in the cost, parks, resort, food, special events, merchandise,Genie+, getting there and back(driving, flying, RV, etc…)…Florida weather, crowds, and how grown ups still have a smidgent outlook that Disney is “kiddie stuff” all play a factor in the wider scope of life.
When making a “hot take” broaden your commentary and weigh it against other scenarios, locations, events, to gain a broader scope then being , its only Disney….
Best thing to do is to try to brighten their day if your a cast member, (if not know when to leave them be)instead of using memories for TikTok hottakes…Anyone we can think of?..
Maybe Dapper should do a PSA for for DisneyParks, or better yet for DisneyResort Television….Dappers Must Be….(like Must Do)a video shown to everyone prior to entering the parks or in the resort rooms saying, “This is a DisneyWorld Must Be…You Must Be Happy…..You Must Be Happy!!!! (sinister laugh at end) !” or else you will be placed on Its A Small World for Eight hours!!!
As a Dad having just come from Disney World, I can honestly say it’s the worst place on earth. Shortest lines were about 45 minutes, and even the kids rides were packed with adults, contributing to the congestion. No beer at magic Kingdom? C’mon… thats a dad life line for a long line.
