We were going to go late November but have decided not because of the bedbug situation. I do not want to risk bringing them home as unwanted souvenirs. I am very disappointed as it was to be our first visit. Have been many, many times to both Disneyland and Disneyworld, so we were really looking forward to Paris. Will wait until we go to Florida next year.

The bedbugs infestation is largely exaggerated. I take the metro daily and the train very often, I have never seen any bedbug there. I live near Paris and I have never been bitten by those insects.

For Disneyland Paris, maybe the rooms are dirty and that’s an other problem. I don’t live in those rooms, so I can’t say. But the park itself is really clean and the custodial teams work hard every days to prevent any infestation.

This “massive bedbugs infestation” as told by the TV and social media is just a subject of the moments. No more COVID to talk about, the Ukrainian War doesn’t interest people any longer, no more strikes in France, Olympic Games are only next year… so they have to find a sensational subject to talk about.

In a month or two, they will find a new one and everyone will forget the bedbugs.

Just back from a 4 night stay at Disney Paris – no bedbugs, no problems in the parks. It was busy, but as ever very good. Can’t speak to a few weeks ago but it’s good now. No broken floats on parades that we saw and absolutely no suggestion to avoid the park at certain times. It was half term for some so very busy, but everything was running ok.
