How about using the handbasin to wash and get maintenance to fix the shower the next day? Not exactly a major issue. It’s not as if the lavatory was broken. Now that IS a problem!!

I agree. Things happen. And things happen at 2 a.m. sometimes. Just deal with what you can and move on.

Shower not working and clogged drain are not the same thing. Waiting an hour for maintenance at 2am is not unusual. How many of the maintenance staff should be standing around waiting to be called at 2am?

I do maintenance there and some guest treat the hotel rooms like their the only person ever stayed there. We do our best, turn over of guests is crazy. Just remember we’re human too.

We returned to our room at Port Orleans Riverside to a backed up toilet and smelly, dirt water all over the carpet. And moved us at 2am to a different room. At least they gave us a $250 credit and all day lightning lanes.

  5. What was maintenance doing ? Sleeping.
You were given the option to wait up OR let them fix it the next morning.
Shower in another room or use pool area the next morning.
