I’ve seen toddlers there, a few babies in strollers, etc. Small children go all the time. I remember one kid got dragged through a haunted house right in from of me last year and poor guy had a panic attack so bad the medics had to be called at the exit. I’ve also seen kids love it. I will also say that for the most part, the haunted houses are kinda hokey and really just fun, especially the ones not based on a horror franchise; the real scares are in the scare zones!

My Favorite haunted house remains the Beetlejuice on during the 30 year anniversary, that one was hilarious.

What part does she The ( Mom ) doesn’t understand that small children r not 🚫 allowed to go to into the Horror Night at universal studios. This poor Children r going to be traumatized. These parents are so stupid take the children to take them . I hope that Universal studios Banned 🚫 them for good.

My 10 yr old went. Halloween is his favorite holiday. He also went into the haunted houses. He had his scares but nothing that would stop him from going again. I seen even younger kids there.

All I have to say is that I’ve been going to HHN since I was 3 years old. I am now 19 and I haven’t missed a year. I even went to the two houses that were rolled out during covid. I am a certified Horror Nights junkie, and that’s something that will never change. I don’t believe in an age guideline at all. I’ve seen both grown adults that can’t make it through one house and children (clearly under 13) that will walk through with a smile. This matter has nothing to do with age, it’s all about perception in what you’re seeing.

Kids in the double digits that can understand what the event is should be allowed if they WANT to go. What I have a problem with is the people with toddlers & newborns going through the houses without ear protection or understanding or ability to decide if they want to go to the event. I literally saw a woman with 2 infants in the line for Stranger Things… that house is LOUD and I can’t imagine the poor toddlers walking through in their light up sneakers and tutus try to not be traumatized… The for real, they should not allow actual babies into HHN

  6. So what?! When my daughter was 7 I did the same exact thing and took her to the Universal Studios Haunt. She loved it!! She closed her eyes when it was too scary and buried her head in my chest when she needed to. We had a big talk before we went, she wanted to go and I decided it was fine. I’ve loved horror always and my daughter does too. So since I did this in 2007, I don’t understand why this mom doing it now is a big deal lol she isn’t making history lol

  7. Stupid they couldnt walk into the haunted houses. Why bring them then not expirence it all. I was going to haunted houses when i was 6 (2006). Not a huge step taking them to just walk around the park and see spooky stuff, let them do it all.

  8. Why take them to universal and then not just let them do the haunted houses. Tell them they are fake if you need too or show past videos. They are not scary there, mainly the ones based on movies are really not. I’ve been going to haunted houses since I was 6 (2006).

  9. I fell in love with horror movies when I was 7 years old. At 9 years old a begged, pleaded with, and hounded my mother until she let my aunt take me to see Friday the 13th part 3 in the theater(yes, I’m old). I was attending Knott’s Scary Farm not long after. Obviously these events aren’t for every kid but I can say with absolute certainty that eight year old me would have loved it.

The houses are the scariest part.

I guess if she brought them to see men dancing, dressed in womans undergarments it would be okay

She will regret it later. Children already have a hard time differentiating truth from fiction.

Very irresponsible of her. Her children could be really shocked and suffer nightmares. We don’t know as don’t have her response. But even without going into the houses, it is too scary for small children. Universal should have stopped them from going in. When buying tickets should confirm noone under age of 13 will be attending.

Universal likes money…..from any and everyone. It’s expensive to build a new park.
