We were there in June. In handicap section the cast members told us the lighting was coming. We could stay in the spot but advised it was going to be bad.
We went toward the first aid station as the rain poured down . Then bolts everywhere. Disney has lighting rods on almost every building. It was nerve racking. We went to leave when the rain lightened up and thunder rolled away. I think they did start the show again. It happens rain outs in Florida.
