    Is this another bs lawsuit?
Quick service restaurants all provide free water on request.

There’s no excuse to be dehydrated. Free water is given at quick service restaurants plus you can have your own water bottle.

    2. Amber

I have never had a problem with getting water at either DLR or WDW. Water is free at QSFB if you ask and there are water stations at these as well.

As the above person stated, there are more than ample places in all parks to get free water. Some people are just plain lazy & have to complain about something. These are the same people who cause problems for us all & if Disney provided this princess with filtered special water he would be the 1st complaining that Disney raised their prices to accommodate this spoiled princess

We took our own refillable water bottles into the parks when we went. You can ask for water almost everywhere. I get they might want filling stations but there can be hygienic issues with these. Who knows who has all touched them. And yes the unfiltered water in the area is HORRIBLE and smelly! Our bnb had filtered water.
This person just needed to ask rather than make it a public announcement that they aren’t the brightest people.

  2. I worked at Disney World (Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios) there are a number of places to get free water and water fountains as well. So they shouldn’t complain about not enough water to drink!

I just spent 3 days in the park with my husband, son, his wife & our 4 year old granddaughter. I carried a refillable water bottle & only found one refill station although I had read that there were many. The one that I found in Epcot, the water was warm (not that it really matters, hydration is hydration), but it didn’t taste very good. I agree, we are paying an exorbitant amount for everything in the park & $4.50 for a bottle of water every 10 minutes is excessive. I read that there are a lot of restaurants that provide cups of water too but it’s difficult to stop, go inside in search of…
More options & easier access to fresh, cold, free water should be made more available to park guests

There so many places to get cold water in Disney! The problem may be that you do not like Florida water which has a weird taste that does not taste like your water where you are from. I have brought my water bottle filled from the hotel room and was able to refill that same bottle the entire day. I went to the quick service locations and at the end where you pick up the food, just politely wait for someone to come over and politely ask for a cup of ice water. They provided it no problems and I refilled my bottle with ice cold water filtered water. There are also refill stations but that is Florida water and I just do not mind Florida water. So I would not have a problem drinking it. It blows my mind how people are saying they can’t find water. They should say they didn’t like the water that they found. Also!!! Disney does not stop you from bringing in water bottles! You definitely could have hit Wal-Mart or any place off property and brought your own water that you love the taste of into the park.

Interesting considering there’s fountains and sinks throughout ALL of the parks.
I have a fluoride allergy that causes me migraines, but in May, when we spent the day at Hollywood studios, you can bet I saved our soda bottles and filled them at the bottle filling stations so we wouldn’t get dehydrated lol (& yes, I spent the next day at MK with a migraine haha).
You have to try real hard to get dehydrated at Disney world.
Sounds like our guest chose not to drink anything all day and somehow thinks Disney is at fault lol

First off, a bottle of water is not $5.00 but $3.75. Second, water is readily available everywhere at no cost. Simply ask at any of the quick serve restaurants. Plus Disney let’s you bring in your own snacks, food and drink.
As for the taste, that’s Florida water. You get used to it with time but if you don’t like it buy bottled.

Filled up my themoflask at the resort with ice, other with water. Kept filling or getting water from quick stations. Even the self device at the QS has ice and no one says anything about getting ice or water at them and that’s what I did my whole trip. I bought a few cans of seltzer in a cooler backpack in case I couldn’t do water (sometimes it makes me queezy if I drink too much) and we were good for 6 park days.

In addition to the numerous water fountains throughout all the parks, any quick service restaurant or snack bar with a fountain will gladly provide FREE ice water to anyone who asks.

Some people just gotta have something to complain about.

  7. Tina

Any of the quick service food locations will give you ice water. Whether he thought it was quality or not is his problem. When it’s 95 degrees out and you need a drink I’d drink what’s available

  8. I never found water bottle filling stations. Some water fountains and several eateries had tables full of cups of iced water or containers. But common sense says it’s water, I’ll fill my bottle at the sink in the bathroom if I had to. More signage would help and a few more bottle filling. BUT till that happens; I’ll use common sense and fill my 3 bottles every chance. (Little Mermaid ride has fountain in queue, always gotta get Mermaid water).

  9. David

There are plenty of water fountains throughout the Disney parks. You can also bring your own water or ask for complimentary cup of water. Or pay $3.75 for a bottle water. Stop complaining, this is not an issue.

  10. Stephen

Another example of lack of preparation. I don’t know about the other QSR’s but PVH usually has ice water outside behind the fountain, at the counters and a cast member is happy to point quests to the filtered water station.

  11. Richard

The parks have lots of water fountains and if you have a water bottle you can refill. If you have the steel cups yetis just ask for ice. He just was not looking hard enough. It said alot he works for LOL 😆. Lite weight.

  12. We live in Florida so we go to Disney every other month. We bring refillable bottles and we always get cups of ice water to fill them up all day. We never have to buy water.

Not true was there with my family first two weeks of August many water stations good water pressure many restaurants giving free water and ice to fill what ever kind of water bottle you had

  15. Jay

It is not their job to make sure you drink water. They have free water AND water to buy. Also them allow you to bring in refillable water bottles!!!

  16. JSJ

This is so silly, I go to Disney every month for a long weekend, including the hot months, I carry a large water bottle that I am easily able to refill at numerous locations, while the water refill stations aren’t in plain site & at every main attraction, they are there! By the bathrooms at the International Gateway Epcot back entrance, at the bus area of HS, etc., not to mention every single resort quick service has water at the drink refill stations!

  17. Lynn

We just got back from a 3 day visit to WDW and never paid for water once. All food locations offer very good free cups of water you just have to ask even if you are not eating there.

  18. Never been denied water and never had a problem finding water!

  19. D

You can ask for free water tons of places. It’s their fault they dehydrated, not WDW. Doh!

  20. Bonnie

Here’s a thought, bring your own. Disney allows you to bring in water and food so that your don’t have to pay for it.

  21. Jimbo

They either exist or they don’t. If they don’t ,.. They should! Simple

  22. Krista

I’m currently at DW now for 9 day trip. Been coming for past 6 years. ANY quick service will give you free ice water!!!!! I ALSO noticed many filling fountains to refill your own bottles. You can also carry drinks in where lots of concerts or other parks won´t allow that.

  23. Marie

Never had hydration issues at Disney. Once in a while you might find a faucet not working properly, but when you have potentially thousands of people using it that day, Disney did pretty well. And if a hydration faucet wasn’t working, there’s always the bathroom faucets…..

  24. James

I’m a pass holder that goes at least once a month and i’ve never paid a penny for water. There are drinking fountains everywhere, and the restaurants will give you free water. Yes, there may be a slight sulphur taste. That’s just the area. Try the water at SeaWorld.

  25. Elaine

If you’re going to complain about something at Disney, make sure it’s a real problem, not just in your imagination. There are tons of quick service food locations all over the parks. If you ask, they’ll give you water, with or without ice for free. Nobody has a valid excuse to be dehydrated in the parks.
