Still love the Mouse but. They are there to entertain, not virtue signal.
For all their inclusion flag waving, they have no problem pricing out average working families.
I have been wondering how much money they were willing to waste before this inevitable conclusion. We dont take our granddaughter to the parks or allow her to watch Disney propaganda. “The villians are running the company dear”, I tell her.
I do hope she gets to experience what my wife and I did some day. The whole thing is a shame – you pay to be entertained and enjoy some escapism from the clown world we live in. Iger and his ‘pals’ force this wierd leftist religion in everything they do. I hope they keep their word and lay off this mind rot. It was already old in 2015.
It is obvious no one who has commented here has taken an organizational behavior course. Companies and or multi-national corporations have the right and can protect their interests by participating in the political process.
Especially after Citizens United which was decided by a conservative court, money is speech therefore companies have solidified their foothold in the political process.
Moreover, it is not only the right but the duty of a corporation to act or influence the political process in their favor.
To argue otherwise is a misinformed position based on cultural wars which seem to be the trend especially in this country.
To be quite honest I would like to see Citizens United reversed and to go further have laws written that clearly define corporations are not people therefore not entitled to the rights of individuals.
I want Disney to entertain me, not want to teach my grandchildren or any Grandchild different types of sex in grade school or ever! That’s why they have parents. That’s who should teach them about grown up things

Lesson learned? It appears the little mouse is a little slow. The damage however, has been done. No parks or movies for me thanks.

Why are you not displaying comments by all?

Good or should I say great idea! Nobody especially Disney should think that sexualizing children in the classroom is ok.
