Many? Many people find the ride to be problematic? Please define that number or be more precise. Trying to hide behind something that sounds like a majority is disingenuous. From what I’ve read a majority want the ride left alone, but as disney has no cajanones we can be sure they will kiss the boots upon their neck.
Isn’t there anyone in the company that has the conviction of right and wrong? The path they are on leads to a disaster for shareholders, then again maybe that’s the plan. Drive the price down until it’s palatable to sell.
Regardless, why destroy a popular attraction because a vocal minority find it problematic. These people likely don’t know history and have no understanding of b’rer rabbit and the underlying stories of the briar patch and how they fooled the overseer or the master. Damn Disney get a grip and show you still have a moral center.
You know it’s a satirical instagram account right? Look at the other stories. “Snipers are being added to Disney roofs for guest safety”, “Disney adult an officially recognized as ethnicity”, “toll booths being added between lands in Magic Kingdom” “Sunday morning mass in front of cinderella castle coming” “Disney bans marriage proposals at all parks”…. just some. The stories are suppose to be funny because they are so outlandish.
Splash Mountain was one of the best attractions Disney ever built. The vast majority loved this attraction and did not find it to be problematic! Stop this nonsense please.
I do not agree with you that many find splash mountain problematic. Splash mountain was about a rabbit in a brier patch being chased by a bear and a fox. Stop trying to get rid of history. If someone is offended then they can ride another ride. Splash mountain was the most popular ride. Shame on those few voices that shut down splash mountain.
It is part of the original Walt Disney land.
Its all about a few that ruined the fun for the majority
Its a shame thay just did take something else down
To make this ride
This is why Disney woke is making them broke
Walt is probably turning in his gravex

Never shouldn’t have destroyed it.
Who, me?
“Problematic”? For who? A few who have nothing better to do than look for something to whine about? Pffft..
