I believe critics are still being highly critical over his legal battles. They need to set that aside. In reality he did win his case and the only thing she won was again his lawyer’s statement and not anything Johnny did or said. But in fairness, I believe what Disney did was certainly unfair and unjust.

The problem with critics is that they have opinions about films, yet they don’t act. I believe when a movie fails it is somewhat to do with the actor but mostly on the writing and directing. Afterall, the actor is bringing their vision to life and well face it. The actors can only do so much. If a script sucks, it sucks. If the director is not doing his job well, then the actor can’t do their job sufficiently. I believe critics are still being highly critical over his legal battles. They need to set that aside. In reality he did win his case and the only thing she won was again his lawyer’s statement and not anything Johnny did or said. But in fairness, I believe what Disney did was certainly unfair and unjust.
I watched Jeanne du Barry and I did enjoy it. Depp did a great job speaking French and portraying the king. He is a great actor. Haters just gonna hate. Not everyone can act and maybe we just don’t give credit for what actors do. But Johnny Depp can act and he’s more than just that.

The problem with critics is that they have opinions about films, yet they don’t act. They are basically glorified A-holes who are paid by the media to push agendas, not for the advancement of film but money. Most media outlets work for larger media companies and push the narrative that thier owners want. There isn’t any point in continuing the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise if they aren’t going to cast Johnny Depp. He is forever Captain Jack Sparrow! He has my support always, been a huge fan of his since the beginning.

I believe when a movie fails it is somewhat to do with the actor but mostly on the writing and directing. Afterall, the actor is bringing their vision to life and well face it. The actors can only do so much. If a script sucks, it sucks. If the director is not doing his job well, then the actor can’t do their job sufficiently. What I’m saying is, why is the success of failure of a film primarily set on the actors? Are they in this alone? The answer is NO. Quit putting all the blame on them. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. His range is extensive. Can he be difficult at times, I’m sure he is, just like most of Hollywood. They’re actors. Artists. He immersives his self into the roles and becomes the character.
