It’s so sad that rather produced very creative, vibrant, beautiful, original movies, it stubbornly continues down a path of self-destruction. It turned a beloved American institution into a trash heap to be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Iger seems like such an 🍑. It’s so sad.
Maybe just stick to the original script, give the audience what it wants and get rewarded with a money printing machine. But, nah, that’s too easy. Disney taking on challenge mode.
I agree with the fan take on this and also wondered why Disney who insists they promote diversity, didn’t use this as an opportunity to explore and shine a light on people who are vertically challenged. I also feel that implying women no longer need to be nurturing or kind is a mistake and a kiss can be kindness not just lust, even if it isn’t consensual at first. People kiss loved ones good bye all the time. It isn’t sexual if the person is deceased….
I totally agree. I always respect the original with the good versus evil and how she eventually found her true love. And just because a woman finds love that does not make them weak, everybody deserves to find love. So Disney you’re so screwed. And also if you think you’re doing justice to little people wake up Disney you’re taking jobs away from them. They’re so annoying. I mean they have lost total sight of what it is to entertain their fans. People watched Disney to escape the mundane world and to appreciate that that fairy tale love and now they’re just sabotaging it. It’s so disgusting
I agree with what their saying if Disney just stop remaking their beautiful original movies that were already great and at least tried create more new movies or Disney princesses that we never seen before or at least try to get inspiration from different countries or places like the old Disney used to do… Then I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be where they are right now especially with that off brand Snow White I’m just saying…😑
How are they going to make the seven dwarfs creatures, they already have enough creatures in the movie without the seven dwarfs being them too, ugh 🤦🏻♀️… Leave the movie along and make one like the original.
I’ve given up on anything good coming from Disney lately. I used to love it as a kid. I just don’t, and won’t see their movies on the big screen anymore with their awful mutations of the classics. They can be as different as they want to, I just don’t care anymore. What’s the point?
The 7 dwarfs each had a distinct personality trait, a big part of the story. It is not about what they look like! Disney just throws that away. WHAT are you corporate nothings trying to do!? I want to see Dopey & the other distinct dwarfs, not a bunch of politically correct rot!
I will never look to this sham of a company for entertainment again.

Classic remakes are classic for a reason and usually it doesn’t divert that much from original. People watch it cause of that, tales they grew up to and came to love. If you want to change lots of things then make something new and original.
