We have had two on our car for 4 years and none have been stolen. We did learn to remove them at the carwash as we did lose them there. When they fade we replace them. The others are scattered throughout the house including the fridge.
I would be more concerned about my personal belongings. I try to minimize them but have 2 handicap daughters who travel with us. I use the magnet on the wheelchairs sometimes. They love them.
Have had the standard magnet on my car for years, until they fade and get replaced. The “AP” the “Orange Circle Mickey”, and the new “D Mickey”. Never had one stolen or lost. But how many “Mickey Mouse Magnets” does one person need?
The fancy collectable magnets, on the other hand, stay at home, on the filing cabinet.

I used to get my antenna balls stolen but since nobody has antenna anymore it’s a moot point.

My DVC MAGNET WAS “taken” while my car was backed in – parked at Old Key West Resort.
