The moral of this story is to LISTEN and BELIEVE your peeps when they say something that includes the word vomit or nausea in it!~~Over here it’s the Teacups that make you oogie. Pick your teacup spinners very carefully! Ha! I’ve waited for over 2 hours waiting for my stomach to come back. Never again… I’ll wave, take your picture, but no more riding the Teacups! (Smiles!) (Wearing someone else’s vomit….ICK!!!!!!!!!!!)
In ’98 I witnessed a similar event although slightly different. Why these parents thought it would be a great idea to bring a new born to Disney World in August I have no idea. Anyway, in mid day heat and sun they decided to see one of the Magic Kingdom’s parades. They infant went into heat distress, and threw up all over the dad. Off came the disgusting shirt and park security came out from nowhere and informed to him to put the shirt back on. A “discussion” ensued about the no top policy in the parks and the state of the vomit soaked shirt, and then I intervened. I informed the cast members of my first responder status and of the immediate medical attention the infant required. What a complete change of tune! Paramedics arrived fairly quickly. Baby got medical attention, and dad got a new (free) t-shirt from the gift shop.
