Funny how it look 65 years for the so called “Dreamers” to figure out the affect of fireworks on the environment. All of a sudden, “environment” becomes a thing during the inflation. HA HA HA
Nothing can equate to fireworks. Projections and drones are enhancements to fireworks – not replacements. Shorten the displays if you must but don’t eliminate fireworks.
Keep the fireworks as they have been for as long as I can remember. The woke looneys need to keep their woke agendas out if park policy. As it is so many changes have been made lately that very little of Walt’s original vision for his namesake remains which is a shame in my opinion. Is it asking too much to be able to just go to Disneyland without being bombarded with this woke nonsense and just enjoy the time with your family and friends.
I love the fireworks, yet I do understand. Disney is making so many changes, not all for the good. I am questioning if I will even renew my AP in December, if I do it will probably be the last. I can’t stand all the fights, broken rides and the prices continue to rise.
I don’t think fireworks are going anywhere, but Disney has figured out that having the projections and all gives them at least a backup when they can’t run the fireworks due to wind, etc.
And by calling it a projection show with fireworks added on select nights they are able to manage guest expectations.
I think it’s laughable that that expense is a consideration. If the cost of $40, 000 – $50,000 is at all accurate, that is only about the cost of 10 families or less to visit Disney and stay on property when you consider lodging, food, admission, souvenirs, parking and anything else I’ve forgotten.
I love fireworks at Disneyland but I don’t like standing for three hours waiting for the start. Not to mention the rude and entitled people who cut in last minute and stand in front of my grandchildren. Waisted time waiting. How many times can you see the basically same fireworks? The only one not to miss is the Christmas fireworks with snow.
Nooooooo! Please Don’t stop the Fireworks!😔 I have been seeing them when I was younger by climbing out the upstairs window and watching them from the roof on my house, and Everytime I go to Disneyland I stay for the fireworks. I have a year round pass and go at least once a month, and I have heard them Every night of my life since 1958 and at 9:30 p.m. Every night…I listen for them. They are a part of my Life and a Disney Tradition…you can’t do away with Tradition❣️ I Love the Fireworks💞
PLEASE don’t eliminate the fireworks it’s been a nightly activity since the opening of Disneyland and the other Disney properties.
There has always been the chances due to weather or weather permitting that the show goes on.they are canceled for that evening only but it never ment permanently canceled .
I’m so sorry for the inconvenience caused by these guys from What used to be a excellent park but now it’s not a park that I’ll ever go to again because of how much petty things that they’re doing to Disney if Mr Disney was still alive he would have fixed the problem with anything that had come his way but it looks like whoever has it now doesn’t care about the guests and employees who have been working hard for a long time. We should stick together and not go to the park anymore and see how they feel about it. Why take away from the past to to were the park was great as it was . Stop trying to make changes that alot of people are wanting the same things as before
Eliminating fireworks would seriously be a bad move for Disney. If you must cut back, please stop making these awful movies that lost money at the box office. In the end, those flops cost you more. Disney fireworks are tradition and nothing can take their place!
I am all for replacing the fireworks. The effect that fireworks has on wildlife is awful, and with the amount they spend per show…. put that money towards something else, like building more rides to decrease wait times. I get that people are attached, but come on. There’s much harder things to lose in life.
I stopped going to the park when they raised their prices so seniors could not afford it. And now that they have gone the way of the Woke class I will be boycotting all things Disney. No parks, no stores, no merchandise anywhere. No movies and no tv channels. What they are doing to our children is inexcusable. Remember…Go Woke…Go Broke.
The end of the night parade and the fireworks show keeps your Dreams alive. The story and musical effects make it that wonderful feeling you had all day “real”. I’ve been there 12 times in my life and I’m 72 and I’m ready to go again. Disney is about bringing the child out of you. Your a kid at heart. The fire works keep the memories alive.
Living in a neghborhood with illegal fireworks going off all the time putting my house in danger, I now hate fireworks. So good ! No my name isn’t Karen lol
I feel the environment is more important. Just visited Aulani and it was great during the 4th of July. So peaceful. No fireworks. They don’t make a big about it. It actually felt strange but we’ve become so used to things that change is always hard.
I went to Disneyland in 1959 and to see what it’s become over the past 10 years is sad. I’m glad all of my kids and grandkids have experienced the park that gave us great memories. They should’ve just remained Park owners instead of trying to be what they’re not. ESPN owners?!!! And so many more failures?

I do not think fireworks Will ever dissappear
My family and I are sending a nightmare week in Disneyworld.
After staying and enjoying the Florida complex for several years we were surprised with an extremely poor customer experience, including and nit limited to:
Multiple attractions not operating during the day.
Inaccurate wait lines.
Employees showing complete disengagement with their work, including rude behaviors. This includes hotel, bus drivers, and disney park employees.
Heated pool while we Orlando is facing a hearing wave.
Rooms with no soap. Next time will bring a little stock for us.
Room service only every second day, and they keep dissembling our daughter’s bedroom.
Finally, no First Aid services in the hotel, our daughter had to have a nail removed by us due to an injury.
Well, after sepnding $5k on our Disney Nightmare vacation, we can only feel sorry about the poor experience and wait for a few years until they can train their teams, update maintenance, buy some soap and ice.
Disneyworld is definitely not the same as it use to be!
I would leave disney early if I knew there were no fireworks show. They did this one year at New England dragway and did some lazer show everyone boooooed and were all chanting for Fireworks !!! Lol
Forget the drones, projections and whatever else they want to introduce as the new replacement for the fireworks it just wont be the same. Disney has gone so far afield these last few years hardly anything of the original park or Walt’s vision remains. Please wake up you woke looneys and let us enjoy the park without your twisted visions or agenda. FROM A DISNEYLAND VISITOR SINCE 1960.
Fireworks are great
Years the new homeowners along the north west side of Disneyland complained Disney scaled back the noise and length of the fireworks still maintaining Disneyland there before the homes. The home byers knew of the noise and traffic in that area.
Disneyland has been a good neighbor.
The drones I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM
FIREWORKS DRONES
TOSS UP
NEW TECHNOLOGY I THINK IS BEST WITH THE MUSIC IN THE PARK TO MATCH THE DRONE WORKES BEAUTIFUL.
AS FOR THE COST $50 K PAID FOR BY THE SPONSORS OF THE EVENING.
LIKE COKE COMPANY DISNEY GETS FREE COKE PRODUCTS FOR LIFE ALL THAT DISNEYLAND PAYS IS FOR CUPS & PRODUCTS TO SERVE COKE?
GREAT SALESMAN Walt Disney of all times?
As for city 70 years ago in California they took Walts deal no taxes for building in Anaheim. The operating and building permits and $$$$$$ financial help Disneyland has given the City and outlying Cities alone has netted the Cities many Billions of dollars
NO ONE SHOULD BE COMPLAINING
LOL

Disney was a favorite destination for many years. I have gone since my daughter was four and my granddaughter who’s eight. It seems less magical since all the changes. I guess I will have to find a new tradition.
No thank you!
We went from twice a month to the park, to zero!
The changes and politics have ruined the magic for all generations of our family.
Take the fireworks as well. Let us know when you get your act together and maybe someday we’ll come back.
Hurry up though, I’m 67 years old!!!
Aw phooey, it’s getting to the point where money is such a huge deal and apparently for stockholders that throwing all the History and Magic in the trash is an OK thing????? Disneÿ getting like everything else, pay for 32oz. but only get 30.
