Disney needs to forget about adding lands to magic kingdom or getting rid of frontierland for new lands. They need to double down on a 5th park and start it immediately. They need to revive idea from the late 1990’s of a villain themed park “The Tragic Kingdom”. Leave magic kingdom alone as it fine as it is.
I honestly don’t care. I so badly want Disney to create something that we haven’t already seen (not related to existing IP). Seeing the same old things over and over is depressing.
Disney likes rehashing existing IP because it allows them to be lazy. They don’t have to actually tell a story with any attractions, they can just refer people to the original movie/TV show. Would anybody understand what’s going on in the Little Mermaid ride in Fantasyland if they’d hadn’t already seen the movie. A 90 second ride based on a 90 minute movie. They make no attempt to tell any story in that 90 seconds. None.
