Ahsoka has been one of the most anticipated projects from the Star Wars Universe. Its title character has been a standout inclusion as she has crossed over multiple storylines while interacting with prominent Star Wars icons from the original films and prequels. Plus, much of the fanbase’s excitement was due to the fact that the new show has been the long-awaited finale to Star Wars: Rebels. Well, Disney has ‘force pushed’ the series’ momentum even further with her cameos in The Mandalorian, providing D23 exclusive Ahsoka fan events, a new Ahsoka character meet-and-greet, and now exclusive merch only available to Disney+ subscribers.

The protagonist of this new live-action series, Ahsoka Tano, was originally a Dave Filoni creation who made her first appearance in the animated TV show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ahsoka was an impetuous, but valiant teenage Padawan under the tutelage of Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker. The talented dual lightsaber-wielding acolyte would eventually turn her back on the Jedi Order after being wrongfully accused of a terrorist attack. She would go on to team-up with a ragtag team of Resistance fights in Star Wars: Rebels to fight against the Empire in her own way. The upcoming series is set five years after Return of the Jedi.

Disney has been selling Ahsoka hard over the last couple months to retain and attract U.S. Disney+ subscribers after they have lost over 4 million users since May. This dilemma has led Disney CEO Bob Iger to increase subscription prices in the future, as well as provide a version of Disney+ that includes advertisements, a la Hulu. Since Disney’s financial woes have forced them to inflate their platform fees, they have been trying entice Disney fans to keep or buy Disney+ in other ways.

This strategy is hoping to pay off as Disney has announced a Disney+ special access in which American users can get the first opportunity to buy from their “Star Wars: Ahsoka” collection. This will consist of exclusive items such as — the Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber Set (with detachable hilts), an Ahsoka Tano Loungefly Mini Backpack, an Ahsoka collectible bust, a collectible Ahsoka pin, an Ahsoka plush and the remote controlled C1-10P droid, known as Chopper.
