Disney, please for decency sake, you really need to slow it down with the recycled stories. Seriously, enough is enough. I’m happy for everyone who enjoys the fairy tale cloning, and all… But you guys are in a RUT. Please, there are still talented people in your company, with new ideas that could be the start of a REAL Disney movie. You did it by taking risks,smart risks that built your legacy. Please, bring back the real Disney magic!!!
Agreed, many of the live action remakes feel hollow. Completely devoid of magic and life. They need to make new stories, and I would love if they continue exploring different cultures. Some of the recent stories (Coco, Encanto, Moana) have been amazing! They expose everyone to underrepresented cultures that show us how small the world is and make amazing stories. This is the trend I hope they start investing in and bring full magic to!
No, no, no! This girl isn’t even cute. I hear she’s a good actress but I’m already tired of seeing her very average face everywhere. This is a fairytale so yes, looks are important. I’m sure there are a number of talented but also much prettier actresses they could choose from.
NO to Florence Pugh – her voice is too deep and her personna and past roles just don’t make her a good fit. But more importantly, don’t make the movie. It is unnecessary! The animated is superb. Leave it alone. Just looks like yet another ill-conceived cash grab by Disney.
The Disney magic was the superb animation. Turning that magic into live action just ruins the magic. Disney is a place to escape, which is the magic, not watch actors try be that animation.
Disney needs to just do a remake like hoe they did beauty and the beast like 2018 I think because changing the whole story and charectors is pushing old fans away tangles was the only Disney princess I could relate too and by changing this is ruining this and pushing me away from the tangled series I’ve watched the show and all the shorts and movies and this is really ruining it for me and others idk why you can’t just keep old stories the same and then make new charectors for the new stories it’s not that hard

Make something NEW and unwoke please! Encanto was lovely there are hundreds of Fairytales in the world that most people have never heard, find them tell those stories. From Ireland, Africa, China, Australia and I am sure Europe has more and Native American and Mexico and all the countries in South America too. There are more stories why tell the same ones over and over?
I agree that remaking good animation in mediocre CGI is getting old. There are so many good stories out there… original books, folklore, history. Make original movies again.
