Yes. Disney did in Once upon a Time do all that with Snow White and it was a great rendition of the character. Part of what makes her so watchable is that she believes in true love. It is a message of hope. You can be a strong woman and believe in true love. It doesn’t have to detract from the character. If you want to make a movie about a girl who is a leader and doesn’t believe in true love don’t call it Snow White.

I couldnt wait till my kids were old enough to share classic movies with them. Then disney wrote frozen a fantastic story with strong women and not needing the man to save the day. I thought they were great. Now it all seems cheap and theyre doing these things for the attention. Im done.

I believe that it is time to move on from the current actress, she has done more damage to the brand and the upcoming movie, I think there are enough “Boycott” claims out there that the film will tank unless something is done.

This blowup against Rachel Zegler is way overblown. There are some flaws in the story for today’s times. I admire her honesty, and this wouldn’t be an issue if people weren’t looking for something to attack. This was all manufactured by those who don’t want to accept change.
This was manufactured by Disney who wanted to change the movie and by the actress who was openly critical about the original. The response is what you don’t like. Disney movies have been either underperforming or outright bombing for years and all they do is double down to cater to a certain ideology and make up the difference by laying of the lowest earners in their parks and increasing the price for a watered down product.
I do not understand why Disney is so bent on rewriting the classics they built their brand on. U support diversity and think they should develop new stories with new heroeines, instead of erasing the classics.

I am glad that the dwarvish have been changed out too, since mining, 7 men living alone and showering together seems too suspicious for modern audiences.
Throw Zegler out, bring in a true black haired caucasian who can be sweet and kind, keep Gal, replace magical creatures with proper 7 dwarves, let fairest mean most beautiful, bring back the prince, keep to the original story, make original movies and stories to impose political agendas, remake the already woked live actions as supposed to be to reflect the beloved animations no matter the cost- it will be profitable in the end- leave the classics as is for those who appreciate tradition because they have NOTHING to ””’fix””’, throw out and ban Bob Iger and his clan…voila, problem solved, everybody’s happy!
