Six flags is unique to other theme parks. Its location is in a known “high wind” area. It is built on a mountains where a lot of water is running off. And of course the rides are some of the most extreme on the planet.
Maybe a nearby road is unsafe? Maybe they had their own tiny mudslide? Maybe they are expecting high wind gusts? Maybe their power is still out? Maybe they are being considerate of their employees whom commute?
I’m going to leave it up to the experts whether the park should be open or not. It would be completely selfish of me to say the weather is nice and I want to go so it should be open.
We changed our plans for my son’s birthday and have decided to go another weekend.
I do believe refunds should be provided to those asking.
