My children and I are season pass holders for Knott’s berry farm. Since they were 5,6 years old they have preferred knotts over disneyland because of the much shorter lines and fun atmosphere. They’re now 15,16 years old and still love going there with me. It would be so sad if knotts had to close it’s doors permanently. I also worked there while in highschool and it was great .
My recollections go back much further to when the old train was the best ride in the park. Before the coasters and all that. I have a picture of my Aunt sitting on the bench on main with that concrete miners arm around her. Lots of good times!
By far one of the best parks in so cal, without the extra costs and hoops of Disney and Universal. I always enjoy my yearly visit around Halloween too.
Far better than Disney!! I have even driven down there from San Bernardino area to eat at their chicken place!! I totally agree shorter lines but so much fun very thankful and pray they stay in business!!
I have always had the choice of going to Disneyland or Knott’s Berry Farms and my choice was Knott’s Berry Farms I have been to Disneyland many times but I prefer Knott’s Berry Farm the rides are better and more fun
We expect some closures. What’s affecting attendance more is the elimination of the 15% discount on the platinum pass and the overall changes to the pass add-ons. The addition of larger offerings of alcohol (mostly located in the new fiesta village), menu changes and selection changes to the meal plan, and poor quality of festival foods have a larger impact on attendance. So cal doesn’t like sudden changes and Cedar Fair has made a lot of them. We love Knott’s. It’s way better than Disney. Hope Cedar Fair can listen and give people here what we want.
Aaawwww that would be devastating, I worked there, my sister worked there, my daughter has up coming working there for knotts scary farm, makes me so sad, my kids too prefer knotts over Disney 100 times over

Can’t believe that Knotts will be closed. It would be devastating for Buena Park.
