Walt said a long time ago no alcohol on Disney property so Disney follow his instructions!

I’ve seen fewer kids at Trader Sam’s this year. They do not belong in a dark, loud bar. It’s for drinking and having fun. The waiters and bartenders put on a great show. Kids just don’t belong in there, it’s a bar. I was never taken to a bar as a child. I don’t understand why this is even up for discussion. LOL. You want to bring your kids to Sam’s? Go sit out at the outdoor bar, no problem.

I think it works as it stands. Not everyone trains their kids but it is what it is. We had our 8 & 10 year old there and they did great. Plus you are not encouraged to stay very long. You can’t be a barfly there. I do see where they could say no kids from 6 or 7 on.

Well the same could be said about adults not riding childrens rides, I personally always think it’s weird to see grown up men and women ( minus kids) go on Peter Pan and other such small kids rides

  5. I agree with many. I honestly don’t think a bar is a place for children. I don’t agree with the 8pm cut off. A bar is an adult venue.

I think that’s why they need to bring back downtown Disney. It was the place for adults night life. It was fun. Hope they bring it back.
