All of the “live action” remakes have been relatively poor compared to their originals. Disney made all those originals as risks to push movie making and story telling and once Disney figures out how to do that again they’ll be successful. But remakes with hacked modern messaging shoved into the film is destroying themselves faster than anything DeSantis could actually ever do.
