I don’t think Talos is really dead. I think G’iah gave him an extremist injection on that bench in the park. But this is the push Fury needs to get back to his old self – a force to reckon with.
All you need to do is look at IMDB and see how many episodes ben mendelsohn is in. SIX. He is in the whole series. Not going anywhere. And in case no one noticed, Rhody is talos wife that is supposedly dead. She, like Gravik are apparently both leading the invasion. Rhody hasn’t had any interactions in the show with giah or talos because they would recognize her in any form
I think Marvel’s clearing house to make room for the new crop of young heroes with Fury, as one of the few remaining MCU OGs, singing his swan song at some point down the line in this Secret Invasion story. Having said that, it’s nice to see the showrunners upping the ante with each successive episode. Kinda feels like watching GOT all over again.
