I loved going with someone that had never been on the ride. Always said look up at that guy. See how realistic he is. (This was the guy sitting high up with a leg over the edge. You could see hairs on his leg). To me that showed how much attention to detail Disney used.

Pirates will in fact be restored to its original 1967 self for the 75th in 2042 complete with the bride auction and the pirates chasing the women with the woman hiding in the barrel from the “pooped pirate” again and I hope she’s among the snowflakes boycotting all things Disney in response and protesting outside the gates. She won’t be missed. There are plenty of Disney purists who will gladly come back and take her place.

I remember when the Pirates of the Caribbean first opened back in 1967. We all thought was another Disney marvel, and it was and still is today. At the same time, A Few Great Moments with Mr Lincoln, It’s a Small World and the GE Carasell of Progress all opened about the same time. We were all amazed with the new technology autoneutronics. We were also amazed with Disney for introducing it to the entertainment industry. The Pirates of the Caribbean was by far the best of them all, and we still do. So to the people who are offended by its usage should not go on the ride, and keep their comments to themselves. We don’t care what they think because they are wrong. I would also say being offended by the Pirates of the Caribbean are just the tip of their icebergs. The world is a must better place than to be offended by the ride. Pirates will in fact be restored to its original 1967 self for the 75th in 2042 complete with the bride auction and the pirates chasing the women with the woman hiding in the barrel from the “pooped pirate” again and I hope she’s among the snowflakes boycotting all things Disney in response and protesting outside the gates. I remember when the Pirates of the Caribbean first opened back in 1967. We all thought was another Disney marvel, and it was and still is today. At the same time, A Few Great Moments with Mr Lincoln, It’s a Small World and the GE Carasell of Progress all opened about the same time. We were all amazed with the new technology autoneutronics. We were also amazed with Disney for introducing it to the entertainment industry. The Pirates of the Caribbean was by far the best of them all, and we still do. So to the people who are offended by its usage should not go on the ride, and keep their comments to themselves. We don’t care what they think because they are wrong. I would also say being offended by the Pirates of the Caribbean are just the tip of their icebergs. The world is a must better place than to be offended by the ride. I was once told ” It’s better to be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.
