My mom and i joined at the same time. I somehow sprang ahead and got to the checkout. After trying numerous cards and different versions of my hyphenated name, it continually kept telling me that there were errors. Who knows if we will be able to make this trip again and it was very special to us. So frustrated with Disney and its continuous destruction of the magic.
Joined the queue at 9:53am…. It was the earliest I could get in. 5 hours later… still in queue…. As of 3:01pm PST. 5 Days are sold out…. still showing over an hour wait… probably another 5 hours.
I got in the queue at 8:59am and at 7pm still had over an hour wait time. Finally gave up after trying to get tickets as a magic key holder and the first disastrous queue for general admission the first time. Disney should learn from their mistakes and go back to selling these tickets like general admission tickets. It wasn’t broke why try and update. There was no queue for star wars days or sweet hearts night. This queue was absolutely unnecessary. Disney do better.
We joined right on opening time (In australia so 2am for us) and after nearly 8 hours the bar barely got half way and they are saying basically won’t get tickets now. So upset as we chose our holiday dates especially for this. Their system is an absolute joke.
Joined the que at 9 I got to a point where is said 34 minute wait then it went back to more than an hour. Not sure what’s going on. Still waiting 8 hours later. Not sure if this party is worth two days of this waiting for nothing.
I tried the first round open and of course that was a disaster. Today joined about 10 minutes prior to 9 pt and here I sit 9 hours later. Was in a count down to 20 minutes then it kicked me back to more than an hour wait about an hour and a half ago. So frustrated. Never been to oogie boogie and really wanted to go.
Joined the queue right when it opened. Finally got through near the end of the day, only to find the one day that we needed was already sold out despite it saying there was still availability while in the queue!
So angry and frustrated and confused on what more we could have possibly done!
Seeing a bunch of tickets already up for sale on Ebay isn’t helping either! What a waste of time! It all just feels so unfair. 🙁
Been in the queue going on 10 hours. I’ve left the laptop on the queue screen and to no avail. Didn’t even make it to the purchase screen. Disney needs to do better.
WHAT. A. DISASTER.
Two weeks ago, during what was the original on-sale date, I waited for about two hours or so (I joined one minute after the on-sale time) before we got the notification that the system was down and they’d pause it and re-start in the near future. Fast forward to two weeks later (today)…
I got in the “pre-queue” at 8:55am (on-sale was supposed to start soon after 9am). I waited for six hours and the progress bar on my screen never got passed 50%. The entire time I had “more than an hour” wait time. Then the one date I was able to do (I’m flying in from across the country) sold out, so I left.
All while this was happening I was reading about people getting tickets after just a couple hours, or people who got tickets who joined the queue AFTER I did, or people who got through to the ticketing site MULTIPLE times (between the original on-sale date and today), or people who bought tickets for MULTIPLE dates while most of us weren’t even able to get tickets for one date. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for any of this.
Considering how Disney prides itself on superior customer service and attention paid to every detail I found this process a nightmare and quite amateurish. What a disappointment, especially for those like me who don’t live anywhere near a Disney park and don’t get to go to one often.
My travel agent signed on four different devices at 8:59am PT. As of 7:30pm PT, all the dates were shown to be sold out and he never got a turn to purchase. Meanwhile, an acquaintance signed on an hour later at 10:00am PT and got a turn around 3:00 pm PT. How does this happen? It appears customers are not taken in the order they entered the queue. This event was a major reason why we chose to come to Disneyland. There has to be a fairer way to accommodate customers. So frustrated and extremely disappointed.
So disappointed in Disney! Got in the Queue at 8:50am this morning just to wait almost 12 hours for nothing! There were people that joined later than I did but got tickets. It’s just not right. Disney just don’t give a F
Our travel agent joined the queue at 8:59 am PT on 4 different devices. When all the dates were sold out, about 10 hours later, he had never gotten a turn. A friend joined the queue at 10:00 am PT and her turn came up around 4:00pm PT. How did thishappen? It looks like the queue doesn’t work like a real line. Customers aren’t taken in order. We’re so frustrated and disappointed right now. Our trip to Disneyland was specifically for this special event.
Joined at 9:35am and at 9pm, my green bar was only 2/3 of the way filled and the screen update said that the queue was closed and all tickets sold out. This was my first and last attempt to go to the Oogie Boogie bash. Absolutely ridiculous! I have four very disappointed little kids.
My sister and I logged on at 9:00am. Waited on que until 7:30pm. We needed 6 tickets for our family and website gave my sister only 3 to purchase at the end of transaction. Due to being limited online to purchase tkts. She was forced to pay for only 3 tkts! Website said we can purchase up to max 8 tkts per person. Why was she not allowed to purchase 6 when the date for Oct 31 was still showing available? She and I spoke to 2 managers, simultaneously on two different phones and both managers told us we hv to go back online and get back on the que. She put me on hold several times and all she would tell me was she could not help me. My sister asked to speak to the manager’s superior and was told she had nobody above her to talk to. The manager I was talking to told me the same thing and said to go back on the que. She did not even know the website said we can purchase up to 8 tkts per person!! So frustrating!!! She would not listen to what I was saying. What kind of managers work for Disney!!??? U guys are awful..! Now we hv only three tickets and can’t even get a refund! How can we leave half of my family behind for this long awaited and planned birthday celebration? My children are crying because we only have three tickets for Oct 31st..I need 3 more tickets..! Then at 7:57pm, the website closed and said “ The Queue Has Closed
Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party are no longer available for purchase.” WTF?? Are you kidding me??! Help me please! I need three tkts for the rest of my family of 6.
I logged on at 9am, waited on que for 9hours. They system would not allow me to purchase 6tkts. It told me I could only buy 3 at the end of the purchasing transaction. The website said we can purchase a max of 8tkts per person. I got kicked out of the system as I was trying to purchase 3more for my family of 6. Why was I not allowed to buy 6? Now I cannot even get a refund because it’s saying non-refundable??!!! I should be able to get a refund if Disney’s website crashed on us!! This is not my fault! Disney please help me! I need 3more tkts for the rest of my family..!
I “joined” at 8:55am (I didn’t know it would automatically put me in the queue once it opened) If I knew that I would’ve had that page open a lot earlier!
Waited 6 hours, once I got in I tried my date for 4 tickets, not available. Tried 3, tried 2, tried ONE and not available even though it wasn’t showing as sold out. So frustrating. No tickets after all that waiting & checking my phone all day.
Joined the queue at 9am…never got a ticket 10 hours later. Same for others in my family trying. We’ll have to figure out how to park hop around this now during our trip. Unbelievable.
Joined at 9:00 am on two devices. On my computer finally got through to buy tickets 7 1/2 hours later, my date of Sept. 14 sold out.
I have a complete vacay booked with Disney for that date too, coming from Hawaii.
It’s all Gavin Newsome’s fault. Always shoving his woke leftest politics on businesses. Driving companies out of California. Homeless rot everywhere. Horrible governor.
I signed on 15 minutes before they went on sale. I waited for over 7 hours and once I got in they sold out right in front of me. I tried purchasing 3 times only to read they’re weren’t enough available for the 5 of us then it was sold out. Now I see resales on ebay and stubhub for 4-5 times face value. Legitimately worst than Ticketmaster and Disney deserves to be sued liked them.

We were able to buy tickets on the 29th. It actually worked just like normal. They charged us and we received confirmation.
Today they posted a refund and told us they are invalid. We never received any other message regarding the situation.
Come on, Disney!
