Ya think?
Disney may finally be waking up to the fact that network television is where its at!
If some of the Marvel and Star Wars shows had entirely premiered on ABC, as a regular tv season show, the ratings, reception, and fandom would have been more favorable.
If Mr Iger wants to cut costs, heres how to do so. Shut down Disney+, license all content out to Netflix, Apple, Amazon. Consolidate Disney channel, and shut down Disney Junior, and Disney XD. Shut down Freeform (sell it to the CW), and other channels owned by Disney.
Just the operating costs savings alone would allow better production for shows to air in ABC.
Only have two channels one network ABC, and theatrical releases, one cable, Disney Channel. Produce content for an all age range demographics across the two channels.
Aside from the obvious and pushed, and I hate to say this, woke pandering . I actually stopped watching this after episode 3, for one simple reason. It was rubbish, it was badly written, and even worse acted. It was a demonstration of Disneys attitude that Marvel can, on the back of major successes just churn out any old badly written, badly acted nonsense and it will work. Total disrespect to the fans who made Marvel what it was.
