This is total BS!! THE PARKS ARE CROWDED DAY AFTER DAY SINCE COVID!
We are at the parks often and you get so tired of the double wide strollers and mobility scooters that people ride because they are extremely overweight or to lazy to walk and they do not know how to use the rentals and people are going to get hurt. The parks are so crowded you can’t enjoy shopping in the stores, get desserts or coffees at Starbucks or wlk the paths because of so many people!!! It is so frustrating. Now the holidays and the story continues with shoulder to shoulder tourists sold out experiences getting reservations at a restaurant. It’s madness and Disney loves it! Their main objective is to cater to the tourists staying at one of the 25 resorts. The tourists get all the good stuff yet complain about nickel and dime costs. If they can afford to get here from all over the world they can afford anything they want and proceed to the parks as pampered privileged guests on a re carpet. Being at the parks and you can’t move is absolutely not fun. And the tempers flare and fights or irate people break! Cast members are being insulted all the time. Thefts are everywhere it never used to be this way! Disney used to be magical NOT ANYMORE
You are so right! My family and I were at the MK late in the day on the 17th and all day on the 18th and it was absolutely packed! This is the fourth year in a row we’ve come to Disney and I can tell you who’s speaking from experience that the crowds are just as bad this year as they were last year!
It maybe expensive but the main reason right now is the heat. We were there first week June. It was packed and temps were real feel over 100. You walk outside and immediately sweat. We are not going back during late spring fall. Due to heat. Who wants to pay 3800.00 or better for tickets just to have to leave to cool off at a resort. I do not believe boycott and maybe pricing is causing such an empty park. Especially since universal has the same issue. It’s the heat
Same! I won’t go back until late September. Way too hot and humid. I almost passed out a few weeks ago, I was drinking lots of water but it was just too much.
Actually it was the hottest 4th of July in Orlando in 25 years. I can speak from personal experience as well, I live in the Orlando area.
As for the weakness of attendance, that’s because most people know the economy is heading into a recession in the next few months if it hasn’t already started.
This is not accurate! Disney is always packed. So are the other parks. ALL of them have had to deal with crowds. If anything is keeping people away from the parks, not just Disney, it is cost. We are the hot spot for inflation right now, just go to a store, either you feed your kids or you go to Disney. I go to Universal more then Disney, it is the same over there, because 1. HEAT, 2. PRICE. I tend not to go to Disney anymore because of price, at the end of the day it all comes down to how much are you willing to pay to wait in line, eat food ect. I use to pay 35. for Halloween Horror Nights in Universal, with fast pass it was 80. Now it is 119. so do the math, here in FL with prices so high, that 119. is food. With how miserable it is to travel on a plane, how high gas is? No boycott of bologna would stop me from going but the price does.
We are veterans to Disney World. If we unfortunately we in Florida in the summer, we visited the parks in the morning and in the evening. Mid-day was for swimming and luxuriating at the resorts. I imagine that is what people were doing mid-day.

How can that be? I love hearing the happy Zip a Dee Doo Dah playing on Main Street as we enter on my way to Splash Mountain.
Oops, forgot — “Wonderful Feeling, Wonderful Day” is “racist”.

Funny, people visiting this summer are saying it’s packed with visitors. I’m sure there’s low times but fan pages are saying it’s still crowded.

We go weekly and the parks are packed.
