This is just unacceptable no one should ever touch another person. There are many who think they are entitled due to the cost. They are not. He should be held accountable not only legally but should pay her medical bills and lost compensation from income.
Too many times I have had to walk the other way with my girls. Common people there are kids there. Violence has no place in their life
Unfortunately for the injured cast member, if she pursues charges for battery, she will have to do it on her own time. Disney does not support cast members who are injured by guests. So regardless of outcome the cast member looses twice.
The guest’s actions were completely unacceptable for multiple reasons. Firstly, they intentionally damaged Disney property, specifically an iPad. Secondly, their actions resulted in harm to another person, namely a Disney employee, by damaging their battery. Given these actions, I believe the guest should spend a substantial amount of time in jail to reflect upon their behavior, more than just a few hours. Additionally, since the guest is from out of state, I hope the bail amount is set at the highest end appropriate for the offense.
While technical challenges and occasional ride breakdowns are inevitable, the guest’s reaction is never justified under such circumstances. However, it is important to acknowledge that both Bob Iger and Bob Chapek have played their respective roles in the increase of violence at Disney properties. The introduction of the new system, Genie+, has made it nearly impossible for guests to fully immerse themselves in the magic and let go of worldly worries upon entering the park. Having to constantly look at their phones throughout the day to book rides and order food leaves little time for families to spend quality time together and truly enjoy the magical experience.
The guest’s actions were completely unacceptable for the following reasons: 1) intentionally damaging Disney property, specifically the iPad, and 2) causing harm to another person, namely the Disney employee, through their destructive behavior. It is my hope that the guest faces a significant jail sentence (more than just a few hours) to reflect upon the consequences of their actions. Furthermore, considering that the guest is from out of state, I believe the bail should be set at the highest level appropriate for the offense.
While technical challenges and occasional ride breakdowns are inevitable, it is important to note that such circumstances should never justify the guest’s reaction. However, it is worth mentioning that both Bob Iger and Bob Chapek have played their roles in contributing to the increase in violence at Disney properties. The implementation of the new Genie+ system has made it nearly impossible for guests to fully immerse themselves in the magic and leave behind the worries of the world at the gate. Instead, guests are now required to constantly look at their phones throughout the day to book rides and order food. This leaves very little time to truly enjoy the magic and spend quality time with family.

He should have stayed in California where this kind of assault is permitted. He’s in the wrong state.

Maybe the attacker had some psychological issues. Or he was an Autistic. Or he was a Kevin (male Karen). These possibilities should be looked into.
