Both me and my girlfriend tried for tickets, twice, waiting 6 hours in the queue and have nothing to show for it except crash messages. One thing I would love to see happen…let guests, at minimum, pick their dates first (maybe 3 preferred dates in order of importance) before being sent to the queue. And for chrissake, if those dates are already sold out how about an immediate message for it instead of making us waste so many hours to find that out??
Here’s the issue, this punishes the person that bought the resold ticket, who may honestly not even know it was resold or sold through non-legitimate channels. But they are absolutely right to try to do SOMETHING about this. Honestly, they probably should just ask for names upfront and say no transfers and require IDs at the gate.
I’m glad they’re doing this. There are many veterans who ise the “Disney Bubble” as a secure safe space to relax with family and let down their hypervigilance, my husband being one of them.
Absolutely Disney should not honor resold tickets!! They system should be fair for everyone to get a ticket. By allowing tickets to be sold at a higher price robs and cheats the magic. Not everything in life should be monetized!!!

Yes, it’s about time Disney did something about the people who buy up special event tickets, popcorn buckets and special items and sell them for a very high price. Ban them all

If tickets are non transferable, then any channel they go through other than directly from the Disneyland site isn’t legitimate.

Yes I am in favor of this. If you are buying them from stub hub or any other place other than Disney you know it’s a reseller selling them.
