This does not fit at all. When DCA opened it was to reflect California as it was when Walt Disney first encountered it. Nothing of the original park remains. Everything has been stripped of its quality attractiveness to be replaced with half characterized pablum. It’s really beginning to suck. Sorry to be so blunt.
When Disney opened a California themed park *in* California, people weren’t interested. As they’ve transitioned it to a Disney themed park the reception has been overwhelmingly positive.
Of course they’re not going to leave a central area themed generically to a wharf. Adding movie-related theming makes sense.
I think some people just like to complain.
