Ron DeSantis served in the United States Navy for six years. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 2002 and was later assigned to a SEAL team in Iraq. During his time in the military, DeSantis was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq and also served as a military prosecutor. After completing his service, DeSantis went on to earn a law degree and served as a lawyer and legal adviser in various capacities before entering politics. His experience in the military has been an important part of his political career, and he often speaks about the importance of supporting and honoring veterans. DeSantis is also known for his support of law enforcement and has signed bills aimed at protecting officers and increasing penalties for crimes against them
What have you done?
Most of us have spent our entire lives NOT being raging bigots acting out like petulant children. That already puts us miles ahead of that clown. Maybe you should zip up his pants and come up for air for a little while.
We have been there on holidays before the pandemic where they closed MK by 10am. They hit the occupancy limit. This is nothing new on holidays. And we were annual pass holders then.
I just read another article like this that said the parks were empty today
We’re 30 year residents and used to bring our kids down even before we moved here
I have zero Interest I politics but it’s been years since we went as the food is way overpriced the cast members certainly aren’t feeling the magic and the crowds feel like Walmart on Black Friday
zero interest in politics, yet you posted a bio of Ron Desantis and implied he was better than the first poster. So that is not true, you are very interested in politics. And if you think the food is overpriced, just check out the prices at its competition. Ballpark? yep, more expensive. other theme parks? yep, more expensive
Your comment makes no sense. One hand you say that the crowds feel like Walmart on black Friday but the other hand you say you haven’t been in years. You say you aren’t into politics but in a separate comment give a full history of Ron DeSantis and sound like one of his lap dogs in that comment. Also today, tickets to Magic Kingdom were sold out and filled by 10 am.
we were at the magic kingdom july 3 and a lot of the rides were almost totally walk on,some were not. IT did not get real busy until about 2 hours b4 fireworks. Testerday at hollywood studioseven star wars rides were totally walk on, Fantasmic stadium was only 3/4 full. It was very different than past years but then look at the price of tickets ,food and merchanise
Interesting article, considering another article and guest that was actually at the park, filmed how ghost town like the park was. So empty/where is everyone she wondered. Also Disneyworld locked people out on the 4th NOT because of overcrowding but because military planes would be flying over the park on the 4th and Disneyworld decided not be open on the 4th,
So to be clear, it had nothing to do with sold out tickets!
Was just coming here to say this. We were here for 4th of July back in 2005 and it max capacity by 10am as well. Nothing new, was always like this just more media hype lol
The Thanksgiving after it first opened, my family went Disney World. By 11:00, they could take no more. They were filled to capacity. And, there was still a 20-mile traffic jam of people trying to get in.
Several years back I attended the 4th of July celebration. It was fabulous but tge crowds were tge worst I’ve ever seen. I love Disney but will spend my holiday at home.

No! We don’t wanna let Ron do this! Walt Disney World is home to the attractions, meet and greets, even special events. We will never let him do this, because we’re about to help Walt Disney World, just to save the day.

Cool story, doesn’t change the fact that DeSantis is acting like a dictator and pushing laws that are being deem unconstitutional.

If I want to experience Disney it’s cheaper to go to Walmart on a weekend.
