Looks like all the politics in their movies and shows, the sky high prices, and all the removed guest benefits are finally catching up to Disney. People are voting with their feet and either going to Universal or elsewhere.
And, according to this site’s Facebook page, it’s sold out? Note to Kirk Schmidt, JAK Schmidt, or whoever: If you’re going to put out anti Disney websites and FB pages, at least coordinate your info. This seems to be a BS propaganda scheme.
LegoGuru2000, I don’t think this is a reliable website. The site’s supposed Facebook page says Disney World is booked solid, and THEY are trying to push that as a bad thing by declaring that the park has locked guests out or some such.
Look at the wait times on the My Disney app. 5min for safari in AK? 15min at Everest at AK. The crowds aren’t there. Same with the other parks. Maybe due to the extreme heat.
All the ghetto people who make trouble have scared off decent families from wanting to visit Disneyland and Disneyworld. Such a shame. These sorry excuses for humans have permanently scared off regular decent families. Disneyland parks will never be the same. It’s going down the dumps like Knotts Berry Farm. So so sad!
Disney bread all the ghetto people by hiring anyone for as cheap as they can. Did anyone think they were going to leave after they don’t have a job? Gimmegrants..
I am not sure what you see as ghetto people. I was once a Florida resident passsholder and was able to go anytime I wanted to. It was always packed with all different types of people. And there are always some bad there but we had fun with my kids.
But you see we did Not have DeSantis in there messing Florida and Disney up. Have you ever thought it could be the Governor of Florida keeping people away? Oh yeah, I don’t care who you are but we are all Gods children.
You’re correct. Former DVC member here, six contracts for thirteen years. Sold them all in 2019 and haven’t been back for the reasons you mentioned. Universal Studios park and resorts is where we go now.
yeah, you’d have to compare it to how the other parks are doing. Visiting Florida in general these days seems like it’d be way too stressful for a vacation.
Seriously. They’ve been advertising dirt cheap resort and ticket prices for we Florida residents for months….after they kept playing games with resident annual passed. Many of us gave them up during the plandemic and never went back because of the games Disney played. And we had passes since Disney had resident passes. We went when i was little, when they opened the doors.
I think families are turned off and afraid to visit Disneyland and Disneyworld with all the recent negative news about how so many awful people choose to behave and start fights, cut in lines, etc! Because of the actions of these rejects to society, they have once again, ruined it for the regular families who once loved to go and take their families to the Happiest place on earth! Now it’s a place like Knotts Berry Farm, where you have gangs, fights and jerks out to make trouble. How sad!
These incidents, like many such stories, are rarer than the internet makes them seem. I have visited Disney at least twice a year since it reopened after the pandemic and have never encountered one of these Karens, either from the cast or from the guests.
I think it has to do with all the airline cancellation on the north east the past week. Plus many people are aware how hot it is down in Florida in the summer, and choose to go anyother time.
I just came back and can confirm how light the crowds were.
It was WONDERFUL!
Got on all the rides I wanted to with reasonable wait times. Just like immediately after the shut down. I was even able to get in to restaurants as a walk up.
Of course, it was hot as hell and I don’t know if that might have been a factor.
2 kids 2 adults. Faced with staggering wait times, brawls, and general woke merchandising, we said no. The cost of tickets was enough to pay for a few more days of fun elsewhere.
I’m going to try asking this again. What exactly is the definition of “woke”? I’ve seen it used dozens or hundreds of times and not single time has anyone actuslly defined it. All I can determine is that people use it when they look at something they don’t like and refuse to be educated about it or consider any actual facts of whatever they are calling “woke.”
Exactly! They can’t really explain it. The word itself, doesn’t seem like the insult they think it is. It must be a catchall phrase for parroting, when they don’t want to do any real thinking.
People are taking their Family Disney
Vacations in Cali! We can still support the Mouse & the Good folks at Disney, without one stinkin penny being spent in FL. The home of DeSatan!

Well let’s see I was just there Thursday of last week and it was packed. I can’t believe that it looks so dead but it was packed. You still had your wait times and you still had the prices people love that place I don’t know who Paula Sis but definitely wasn’t like that.
Where’s the kids? Last time I was there (years ago) there was a buncha them including carts. Wow I guess Disney priced families out, huh? Nice outfit ole Walt would turn over in his grave if he could see this.
Isnt that the idea though? You want to go to Disney when no one is there. I stopped going after spending so much money and only getting on 3 rides per day. It sucked. If the crowd is down, that’s better for me.
I think some of it has to do with the economy. Inflation is has ravaged the middle class. I was at a resort town in Colorado and it was slow.
When any company gets political they will turn off and lose customers. I’m sure that has something to do with it.
How about the real reason? It’s because the trans agenda and woke activism has taken over Disney. Damage to kids is beyond wrong, but they think it’s OK. God’s not going to put up with it much longer.
We were there a few months ago and couldn’t believe how empty the parks were! It was weird. We took photos and sent them to other family members to show them because it was unreal!

“Wrong”…”Double wrong.”
Wow, can’t argue with “logic” like that.
LegoGuru2000
Then how about providing an actual rebuttal, an alternative explanation vs just declaring this to be wrong
Minnie

Daniel
Yeah, I’ll say it. Inner City Black people and the gangs they bring.

So true. They ruin everything. No wonder no one wants to be around them.

Never been back since.

I agree with you. I hope the powers-that-be at Disney finally realize this and bring back some of the perks that used to make the Disney Difference!

Wouldn’t bother me one bit.

Good. We don’t want kid grooming in Florida. Get Lost and stay in Commifornia. You aren’t wanted in the land of the free!

How is the tinder action in the park?

IMO it has a LOT to do with Devilsantis&his constant attacks on Disney Ppl are afraid to get caught up in the drama!
