We had a family meeting and we decided to leave Florida. It was more about free speech that DeSantis likes but only his. He holds it against you if it’s not the free speech he wants to hear. Spent 15K – 20K every few years on large (17) family vacation to WDW. We won’t any more and have stopped our Disney channel. Florida is great and we will be back, just not for WDW. Due to the fight DeeSantis picked with Disney (because he has a truculent personality and questionable intelligence), he has seriously damaged the state’s economic prospects. The taxes that Disney pays directly to the state of Florida, along with the sales and other taxes paid by Disney World visitors and employees runs into $billions. As Disney world is planning to expand further, quite possibly in another state, DeeSantis’ threats and actions toward the company can readily result in a loss of billions in tax revenues paid by Disney to Florida, along with decimating the hundreds of companies that support the Florida Disney operation. It is hard to understand why he has picked a fight with Disney in Florida, given the enormous amount Disney contributes to the state’s revenue. His truculent personality and marginally adequate intelligence make him in qualified to be Florida’s governor, let alone POTUS. His trends all appear to be heading in the wrong direction. And, it appears quite possible that he is headed toward an early retirement from politics.

You claim people are leaving Florida which is a win for Disney but if people leave Florida, they are equally reducing an immediate source of revenue for Disney. Due to the fight DeeSantis picked with Disney (because he has a truculent personality and questionable intelligence), he has seriously damaged the state’s economic prospects. The taxes that Disney pays directly to the state of Florida, along with the sales and other taxes paid by Disney World visitors and employees runs into $billions. As Disney world is planning to expand further, quite possibly in another state, DeeSantis’ threats and actions toward the company can readily result in a loss of billions in tax revenues paid by Disney to Florida, along with decimating the hundreds of companies that support the Florida Disney operation. It is hard to understand why he has picked a fight with Disney in Florida, given the enormous amount Disney contributes to the state’s revenue. His truculent personality and marginally adequate intelligence make him in qualified to be Florida’s governor, let alone POTUS. His trends all appear to be heading in the wrong direction. And, it appears quite possible that he is headed toward an early retirement from politics.
