they just want to make more money. it’s not a happy place when your budget is stretched to the limit. i have attended disney parks for over 50 years and seen prices to skyrocket to the point i couldn’t afford a nice time for any of my family. making more money hides the fact there are other things going on within the disney family that has not pleased a lot of park goers.
Maureen….what does “woke” have to do with annual passes? Some people don’t understand the concept of a place for EVERYONE. Your “rights” end when it controls someone else’s life. Try being a decent human being.
For those of you worried that annual passes are going to go away, you can take that notion out of your mind, because it’s not going to happen. At least not here in Orlando. Yes, the prices will continue to go up as they always do. You still have to take it apart piece by piece and realize the deal that you are getting compared to others that are here for one week or two weeks. The notion that annual passholders don’t spend as much money as people that are here for a week is pure trash as far as I’m concerned. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know that I am always coming home with some thing from each visit. I’m always patronizing the food and beverage establishments, and I’m always attending all of the festivals. Trust me, passholders spend their fair share of money. Take them away, and you take away a serious revenue stream. Any accountant worth their salt will tell you the exactly same thing. So don’t spend all your time worrying about things that you read, just going to enjoy yourself and have a great time!
Magic key passes are just the new annual pass. It’s literally the same thing and for the entire year. The program isn’t suspended it’s rebranded. I was a pass holder now im a magic key holder- they both mean I have an annual pass
