Sorry to see Splash Mountain go away. Eager to see what Tianas place will be like. ( I have a DVD of “ Song of the South”!)
Everything that Disney does will be met with some people that don’t like what they are doing.

Although I am soon to buy a Blue ray of “Song of the South” can you please enlighten us as to what in that film is “so troubling”?

I do know that the lead African American actor in that film, James Baskett won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Uncle Remus. I saw the film as a child and found NOTHING offensive (unlike what I have seen in today’s WOKE Disney & Marvel films) so I would LOVE to hear your input as someone who has ACTUALLY SEEN the film as well….

There is no Tiana coming. Splash Mountain is open in both US parks. Disney lied.

Zip-i-Dee-do-da is and will always be a refreshing springy piece of music regardless of what movie gave birth to it.
