If it doesn’t have the actual show in the steelbox, why would anyone want it.consumers by things like that because they get the show first and all the rest is bonus. No one wants the bonus without the show. Disney needs to quit being cheap and give us what we want
What??? Seriously??? We as fans should always have options on our purchase especially fans of the comic book and movie genre. Being able to collect hard copies whether it’s in a form of a book or DVD. I always thought Disney would support such and idea when others would think archaic. I am truly disappointed that they would consider stopping physical merchandise of any sort concerning Marvel especially dvd.
No disc(s,) no purchase, no way, no how. And it’s not limited to Marvel shows – none of the D+ Star Wars series have shown up, either, from the last season of “Clone Wars” (post-“The Lost Missions”, i.e. Season 7) onward. So very unhappy with D+ on this non-physical release front.
As someone who occasionally spends time in areas without Internet (or streamable quality Internet) having a hard copy is a must for having entertainment in my down time, but even when I’m at home if there is ever a problem with the streaming service or Internet then I am not at their whims for being able to enjoy what I want at any given time as long as I have a hardcopy.
Plus there is also the whole collection value on my shelves/display.
They think by doing this, removing blu rays/Dvds that more will subscribe to Disney+.They won’t.It’s no longer WALTS Disney,It’s woke Disney, the woke kingdom, the most woke place on earth, and this is why most are boycotting Igers Woke Disney.By removing hard copy’s,Blu-ray’s and dvds,Disney just loses more money.I’m good with this.Restore WALTS Disney,or go broke and fall,Woke Disney!
I want to own the disc not a license, my internet is poor and even if it were not the streaming performance is awful compared with the disc. I won’t purchase
Why in the he!# do I belong to Disney Movie Club then for all these years? It’s to get access and purchase some of these movies and shows for my kid. Jesus Christ, Disney…. if we want to give you money to buy something… take it. That is a good thing. SMH
Physical media is the only way that people who cannot get high speed internet can enjoy Disney+ original content. This really says screw you to all those people.
If you can’t let me enjoy your content the most convenient way that I can consume it, you can keep it. People will just start acquiring it by other means.
If they think they won’t lose more money by not putting out blu-ray or regular dvds they are crazy. No disc’s Disney won’t get much money. Some like that but most want the discs. Disney better watch out, they are already losing a lot cause of their woke practices. Doing away with disc’s will end up finishing the company off for good.
Why would anyone buy a box to get a few pictures and no disc? That makes zero sense. On top of that you have streaming channels cutting shows from their service so you would lose watching it completely. If I liked a series well enough I buy the blu ray so I can watch it again when it’s no longer available
I want “forever” copies of my favorite shows and movies. I want to be able to watch them when I’m away from the internet. I want to absorb all the bonus content. I have 3 copies of The Lord of The Rings, for heaven’s sake. Theatrical release DVDs, Extended DVDs, Blu-ray Extended. They all have different bonus features so I kept all three. I won’t buy an empty box. I still have Disney+ that I pay for, so why would I if online is the only way I can watch.
And now you’ll be able to watch them only as long as they allow you too.
Not yours to own .
Without a physical copy, It’s no longer yours to watch whenever you want to .
And they can just take it out of circulation whenever they decide too.
What’s the point of selling a DVD box set without a disc? Dumbest decision ever, Disney!! Some people like having a physical disc over a digital copy, and collectors would definitely purchase a physical disc if the loved the show. This collector will not buy without a disc.
I think we they are going to far but most things are digital now look at Sony they went digital still can go to places like Gamestop but most these stores going out of business because the whole digital world ideas I agree it’s not free but if we want to still love this stuff all we can do is adapt some battles won’t make a mark much I stop buying Dvds and never cared for Blu ray if this new way more flexibility but hope they tell you this before you buy

I can understand no DVD format (SD), but no blueray nor 4k blueray as well seems like cutting off a revenue stream.

People lose jobs.
This is not good for the economy.
