    Unfortunate it is.

Please heed this advice. Sadly there are some cast members who are “bullies”… and or on a power trip and in this case, it does sound like the cast member is.

Cast members should never doubt the guest in any situation and with regards to the disability certification.

And its definately a double standard of the rules per the queue lines as this cast member is encouraging line cutting.

Please note, if you feel.uncomfortable in speaking to a cast member, there is no harm no foul to ask.for a supervisor and to speak to another cast members to assist the guests.

    Reach out, contact guest relations.

Disney has clearly stated that this practice is no longer accepted, so, what the cast member was suggesting could have gotten the guest kicked out of the park.

Always record these encounters and make sure they know they are being recorded, it will dramatically reduce things like this.

Any guest who attempts to cut in line should be escorted out of the park. Some people seem to think they’re “special”.

You who disapprove of someone holding a place for their party think you are special when you disapprove.

The sheer entitlement of your comments is so immature. If the majority of your group isn’t ready, then you should all just wait to get on line. No, your group is not smarter than my group because you guys thought one person could wait in line while the other 5 people in your group got to run around the park. We’re just more considerate of everyone else’s time. If your group didn’t want to wait with you, then you can all enjoy the ride apart. The park would be even more chaotic if every group had one stand-in to wait on line.

Someone holding a spot for their group is not line-cutting, but the reaction from those who disapprove need to grow up.

    1. Drew

Tim, you are wrong. Your group should enter the line together. If that’s not possible then wait until you can. Running someone ahead to hold a spot for a large group is inconsiderate for those who waited for their turn. Once in line if someone needs to leave to go to the restroom, then you can hold their place. Your entitlement and immaturity is showing.

The CM who tells a guest to violate their own policy needs to be retrained. A second offense and the CM is shown the stage exit. The only spot to “hold a place in line” is at the entrance to the queue. Everyone can enter at the same time then. There is no “holding a place in line”. This is line cutting. Period.

You try to cut in front of me, well looks like your group got bigger, because you are either A) not cutting or B) taking me and whom ever is with me

I find your sites posts so annoying.

Simple solution to those who think they can have their their spouse and child wait on the line and then join them. You shall not pass. Take out your phone and tell your party they have to find a corner to wait till you get there. If you do not find this agreeable a cast member can be flagged down and you can be escorted out of the park.

Furthermore, this is really Disney’s doing. I am pretty sure, although this would require research that line cutting increased as a result of paid line cutting services. The dramatic increase in the stand in line has caused selfish individuals to try to rationalize their actions by cutting the line through this little maneuver.

As a cast member myself I do not condone the mentioned cm doing this I’ll pass this up the ladder and it will be investigated and the cm who suggested it will be terminated
