I guess the deaths of millions of Armenians isn’t included in the 5 Keys Disney claims to uphold. Maybe we can find a picture of a cross dresser being murdered…then Disney will build an entire franchise around the atrocities.

This just shows the hypocrisy of a company claiming to be concerned with equality and protecting rights. That is, unless there is a way to profit on the other side.

Honestly, no one has seen the show yet, for all we know, they call him pure evil (and ANYONE who commits genocide is indeed pure evil, make no mistakes about that). As the article points out, The problem is we don’t know what the show says until it is released and if the claims are true, then it should never be released, but if they are false, then by all means it should be released.

What do you think a show funded by turkey will show about Kemal ? They have it ready since 2016-2017 and can’t find cast or anyone to show it. Now probably the timing was right.

Exactly.. Anything coming out of Turkey is pure propaganda and further advancement of lies and cover ups.

I doubt they will tell the truth.. We all know they will make Ataturk a hero.. people’s savior.. blah blah blah..

If you haven’t seen the show, how can you comment about it? Are you clairvoyant? If the show is based upon historical fact without editorial modification, it should be shown. Those who forget or deny history are bound to repeat it.

They already have a documentary on the global killer Dr. Anthony Fauci.

This is embarrassing and we should not let this happen. In the name of the Yazidi’s I will do anything requires to stop this from happening.

The war against Kurds is ongoing and non stop….

  5. I don’t have enough info on this to make a real decision ,however if “canceling” this Doc is the only way to make some happy then NO.
If you don’t wanna watch, then don’t, but if it has “lies” about history then make sure the truth is come to light. Also,if a Doc is going to hurt relations between two nations they have WAY Bigger Isuues.

Atatürk is the founder of modern Türkiye, who liberated the invaded parts of the country after a 3-year war against the invaders (Greece, UK, France, Italy). After the War of Independence he made peace with all former enemies and the Greek prime minister Venizelos has nominated him for Nobel Peace Prize. He has transformed Türkiye to a secular Republic and made many reforms (such as accepting the Latin based alphabet, transforming the education system from religious based to secular modern one, abolishing the khalifate, just to name a few). Whatever happened between Turks and Armenians during the World War I was not a genocide but both sides attacking each other and many unfortunate events followed. Besides Ataturk had nothing to do with all these at that time. He was a great peace maker and peace keeper. His motto was “Peace at home, peace in the world”. He has established alliances with middle-east and Balkan countries for peace and collaboration. Nobody can blame Atatürk for a genocide.

History says you are wrong. The Turks sought to eliminate the Armenians so they couldn’t fight back. Not very peaceful I’d say.

Absolutely disgusting move by Disney. I will be cancelling all my visits to Disneyland and my subscription if this airs.

Disney knows better and it troubles me that money speaks louder than justice and human rights.

    Just disappointed.
