This movie will bomb , not because of Brie Larson , but of the stupid decision to put in a character who sells poorly in the stores – Kamala Khan. Why execs think putting in a low level character will somehow make this interesting is beyond me . Another bad decision by Feige and company . They don’t know their audience anymore .

Poor selling character Kamala Khan will be the reason this movie fails . Execs like Feige don’t know their audience anymore

    Huge bomb at box office.

This movie looks like it should be released directly to Disney+. Mostly everything after phase 3 seams watered-down and focused too much on comedy, making them corny.

They can push this movie into Kingdom Come, and it still won’t make any money! Lol

I too have been suffering from Marvel fatigue. Too many low quality projects that I personally feel are meant more to feel out fans than anything.

I’m fatigued with studios being scared of loudmouth social media twerps. Pushing movies back, especially when they are apart of a train of movies is like a layover that keeps getting pushed back.
Not only do you not want to get back on, when you do, you’re not watching in the same frame anymore. This also makes movies and TV shows lose viewers. The mouthy media people then feel justified that they predicted right.
Momentum is everything and knowing when to stop.
Don’t blame Brie, people are always ready to be unkind and loud about it. Why the positive voices aren’t being elevated is an obvious choice to magnify what tickles human nature’s bad instincts. It makes “news”, even when it’s untrue.

Everyone in these comments sound like trolls with nothing constructive to say at all. Just talking crap.

  9. Don't Hate - Appreciate :D

I’m not sure why everyone is hating so much on this.

I thought the Ms. Marvel series was amazing, with great character development and unique visuals. I think many of the people commenting, didn’t even watch that series be it for actual fandom or potential hatred for browns, I don’t know. But give it a shot, it may actually make the Marvels more enticing, as it has for my family and kids.

They couldn’t keep Iron Man forever, and yes they messed up the Hulk in She Hulk.

Also, Moon Knight and Shang Chi surely should reprise roles in sequels or cameos, but this particular movie has its own thing and I for one am looking forward to it eagerly, and will only judge after watching it.

We all may be expecting too much from the MCU after End Game, but stop focusing on group-think and enjoy something that cannot be rebooted and possibly replicated in the same way. The connectivity throughout the MCU has been a bonding experience for my family and we love it and hope it keeps going on! Without the haters not realising how difficult it is to make movies.

Yes, Brie Larson is one of the most famous movie stars. But she is anything but loved. Captain Marvel 1 made the money it did because of two reasons. Number One: Disney used a similar marketing strategy to Black Panther where by seeing the movie, you are literally fighting racism and making the world a better place (by giving Disney money). They used that same strategy with Captain Marvel, but instead of racism, it was fighting the patriarchy and misogyny. “Come see our movie to help women everywhere!” it makes you feel like you are doing something important…by giving Disney money and watching a CGI chick fly around shooting beams. Number Two: It was sandwiched between the two biggest movies in the franchise, Infinity War and End Game. After the way Infinity War ended, people were hoping for any sort of clue as to what might happen in Endgame.
