Unfortunately Disney Bullying is a thing…

Sorry to hear this happens. By no means should a guest make another guest unhappy by speaking, whispers, comments of a negative nature odd looks from others, etc….

Disney Bullies are there..Groups of bullies are divided into so many little factions, you have the Dsiney Hogs, Pin Sharks, you have those who just have to ruin anothers day, etc…A lot of the bullying comes from guests, not all, but alot from upper east coast US, and some from the southern US.

All too often groups are judging others by looks, clothing, physical stature, and then the cry babies…Yep those Disney “hogs” who think they are better than everyone else because they have an AP or are the first line for the newest popcorn bucket.

To be fair every big fanbase of an IP has bullies, hogs, know it alls, etc…Its just a fact of life. One such fact is the Star Wars community fanbase, collectors….OMG….talk about eletist classes among the fans, just because your costume is screen authentic, or your lightsaber is not screen acurate color corrected Jedi or Sith color, or you have the most toys, again not all but a lot are, especially some in the 501st ranks. Wow, they wont even talk to you at conve tions unless they deem you worthy.

Comic book fandom, Superheroes, OMGx10…How many arguments, and judgemental actions have taken place in comic book shops, conventions as to what version of a superhero is better, to the villains, to the story…

Its sad that there are obsessives in any fanbase and make others who may not be able to be first in line, or afford the screen authentic props, etc, feel like bottom of the trash heap…It happens…

Ever watch Youtube? Yep a place you can watch videos of those who gloat over being first in line, or getting the first wave of the newest action figures of every franchise IP out there. Basically they are saying “Look What I Got and You Dont.”

When did vacationing at WDWR or DLR become such a competition????

Now a days its kinda of a given, that fans like to show thwir fandom by dressing up in a represen tative way of a character, movie, tv show….especially at Disney Parks..

Others need to lighten up, dont ruin others day who want to express themselves by dressing up showing their fandom….

Hey Bob Iger, and Disney Parks….all ears in here…
Did you really think that fans wouldnt want to express themselves fashionably of their favorite character or IP?… Yes there Disney rules in place about dressing as one of their characters and such as not to confuse other guests.

Take a look at the pictures here of the outfits. It is a representation of their favorite characters, and not an exact recreation of a Disney character in the parks, quite distinguishable from character cast members…it is an implied look, showing support for their fandom.

Nothing wrong with dressing in a fandom way, distinguishiable from the cast member characters, but still conveys that of a character in a non direct but recognizable form.

Stop the Bullying, please. Either say something nice or dont say anything at all.

    1. Well said, unfortunately isnt this sort of behavior indicative of society? And it doesnt matter if you are conservative or liberal, rural or urban, its society…sad but it is what it is and we all just have to adjust and move on

    Oh boo “f-word” who.
If you do not want people giving you attention (both good and bad) then do not dress like that.
Some making an off hand comment, not meant for you hear, is NOT bullying.
A 12 year old beating up a smaller kid, and taking their lunch money is bullying, not this woke cry baby attitude.

I think it’s cute. If they are honestly just move on.

She can wear what she wants as long as it doesn’t break code. But who is she to tell others what to say or not say? She does social media videos (“not too many followers”), so get over yourself when you go out of your way to draw attention to yourself.
