I wouldn’t spend 1 cent in Florida with that wing nut as Governor

  2. The NAACP leader lives in Tampa, FL. Asking people of color to avoid Florida is hypocritical and political. Most tourists concerned about safety avoid blue metropolitan areas such as New York City, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle. While liberal politicians are speaking out against Florida, they are still vacationing there. Florida is a great area for law enforcement, because they are supported and wanted. This makes the state safe.

Maybe it’s the mustache on the princess that is hurting attendance? Go woke, go broke? Maybe it’s the economy? Single income families can’t afford Disney anymore?

We cancelled a 2024 trip to Disneyworld and will go to Disneyland in CA instead. I won’t give a penny to FL, it seems like the unfriendliest state on Earth and traveling there has totally lost its appeal. I won’t take my kid there until DeSantis is gone and the residents aren’t cheering on fascist hatemongers.

I have not only not renewed my Disney pass but I have chosen to move out of state. I have lived in Fort Lauderdale/ Wilton Manors area for over 20 years for the diversity and sense of security however that is gone now even our last pride was filled with fear This state has gone down the tubs with all the hate that’s been allowed due to our Mr. Desantis not to mention how he has treated teachers and education I mean pulling books on history mostly Black history is just disgusting I am a gay teacher with a biracial daughter I’ve had enough I move to tomorrow and I thought I’d be sad but I’m not the cost of living is ridiculous also I went from paying $1100 for nice quiet clean 2 bedroom to $1550 for a 1 bedroom shoe box because my past landlord raised my rent to $2200 a month doubled not only unfair but horrifying to a teacher salary My daughter and I saved all year long and bought beautiful property in VA and has a creek and green grass and beautiful trees that’s the kind of life I want away from hateful ignorant racist people it’s sad as women we’ve also been put back years and years I’m 59 years old I’ve already fought once for my rights sadly I have no fight left in me I just want to be safe and happy and mostly left alone to live my life so Florida and all the out of state transits you win with your money and narrow minded ways I paid taxes served this country contributed to my community and society taught kids no one else wanted and for what to be treated like I was a piece of garbage I once loved my life here and thought I’d never leave but it’s just not worth it anymore I pray the younger version of me is out there in the masses and can continue the fight but I’m 100% done with these people

Dangerous conditions! Lol! Talk about overly theatrical. Try living in the Pacific Northwest where, due to Trump and BLM we’ve had so many riots and vandalism. There’s a city called CHOP in Seattle where police are not allowed. And now Portland and Seattle are having to backtrack on what they’ve been allowing because companies like Nike, REI and Walmart are pulling out of those areas due to crime. Destroyed vehicles and property. And these are liberals doing it. So, because someone is protesting a business in Florida, it’s unsafe now? I swear liberals are the biggest gaslighters. Preach how they’re the tolerant, intelligent ones but literally rioting if anyone dares to disagree with them. If they think Florida is scary, maybe they just need to stay inside. Or come up here and see the real violent world they’re creating. They’re clearly too delicate to go to *gasp* Disney. Oh no! Not a picket sign! At least your cars aren’t being burned down and Disney doesn’t have tent cities all around it with needles on the ground.

DeSantis is only succeeding in keeping millions of dollars in tax revenue out of his state. When that starts to hurt the state budget and cuts have to be made, he will reaign to focus on his presidential bid, and when that fails take a job with Fox News.

We moved here 4 years ago because of the weather and the people as well as Disney now we regret our move that person called a governor is slowly destroying Florida oh don’t get me wrong we won’t leave only because it’s closer to my kids and grandkids. Message to DeSantis. Leave well enough alone stop shoving your religion down everyone’s throats
