It’s clearly her ship, not his. The Chimaera was transported to the unknown regions, so it’s likely that it’s not space faring and needs to be repaired

LOL. Most “older fans” who grew up with Thrawn are already going to pass on this show. Disney has already ruined enough of our favorite characters; we know better than to expect anything else at this point.

I don’t think “most” older fans will be skipping Ahsoka. Some might but others, me included, will be tuning in. I don’t remember a lot of backlash when Thrawn was reintroduced and I think Dave did a decent job bringing the character into the new canon. Since this show is basically a live action sequel to Rebels with Filoni at the helm, I think it will be a good representation of my favorite Imperial officer. Of course your mileage my vary but I know a lot of old and newer fans a very much anticipating this show.

I’m hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Please, just tell a good story. One that’s progressing Star Wars, not destroying any more of what’s left. I can’t believe that in 10 years we got 1 good movie and a few good TV shows.

Thrawn looks line a blue Elon Musk

The Chimera was heavily damaged by the purgill in Rebels. And it was the purgill that activated hyperspace, not the ship.

While it might be a new ship entirely, it is also possible that Thrawn has upgraded the Chimera. If I were him, I definitely would be making additions to my flagship. Maybe enough firepower to deal with Force Space Whales to go with a new interior design to add a little color to the drab Imperial color scheme. Perhaps these alterations make it more like vessels of the Chiss Acendency that Trawn commanded before joining the Empire.

Wth So happy we’re finally getting him, now they’re going to be changing things? Smh

Although a Chiss battle cruiser bringing him back to his ship, helping him repair it… Ar’alani perhaps, would be cool. That would be a positive enhancement considering Zahn’s new “cannon” origin, back story Thrawn books

Are we easily forgetting this could simply be the Chiss?

  10. Just a thought, but what if… it is the command ship from the dreadnought fleet?? ( not sure if that is spelled correctly it has been a while since reading Heir to the Empire series). Those were, if I remember, supposed to be somewhat luxurious compared to others

Actually, Thrawn had a few differwnt flagships in Legends Material….. (Admonitor, Grey Wolf and Relentless)…. So it is possible the Chimarea is not there….. It could also be his new ship carries the same name. New ship, old name. But just some thoughts.
