I think that might be a mistake in the long run since he put Chapek up for his replacement last time!

I am very happy to hear that Bob Iger is back at the helm of Disney and wants to stay; he is doing a great job of restoring the true meaning of Walt Disney’s dream.

He needs to lower prices so that people less fortunate can go and enjoy the most magical place on earth..Many many people go so why not lower the prices..If prices were lower I think Disney would be fun again..

Even though he reccommended Chapek, Chapek did his own thing once Iger gone. Think it will take longer to undo the mess that was left. Iger should stay and try and get things back to so normalcy.

Bob Iger personifies everything that is WRONG with the Disney brand and EVERY indicator shows it. He and the rest of his minions in the company as well as those outside pushing this woke crap (Blackrock etc.) need to go. BUT the board is made up of corporate elites who fly around the company sitting on each others boards. They are so out of touch and incompetent there appears to be no hope – esp if this crap is allowed! How much failure does there have to be. In reality I believe Iger is positioning Disney for a takeover – or more correctly a handover. He is a mergers guy NOT a creative guy. In fact I’ll say it – he’s arrogant and evil

  6. I have been coming to Disney world for over fifty years loving it The last few years have really been disappointing. Souring costs -ride breakdowns – and confusing and additional expenses for ride reservations. It’s no wonder that there is fighting and belligerent guests. I am so tired of go woke – there should be no politics involved. Why ruin something to be controversial. I want the old Disney back 😟

The Castle was completed in 1972

This was his plan since coming back. He only left trying to angle himself for a Chinese ambassadorship to jump start a political career, which didn’t pan out for him. He managed to get his old job back partially as CEO, managed to get any other internal challengers gone and is ready for taking back his old place in the company as CEO and chairman of the board. He’s first got to convince the board to keep him on as CEO especially “in these troubled financial times” and when things finally pick back up overall, he’s in the catbird seat to get all the credit and regain the chainman position again.

I don’t know what it is that causes these Disney CEOs to turn into megalomaniacs but it is always at the expense of shareholders and the company. I saw this coming.

He’s getting too old and won’t keep this up forever. After what he’s putting the company into including where it is not making money, they may simply deny him that and force him to retire. The shareholders would make sure of that.

He needs to go and take all the woke folks with him. Get someone in charge catering to good wholesome family entertainment. Enough of the rainbow stuff.

I love Bob Iger because he can Restore the Magic at Disney and make new attractions like Mary Poppins and overhaul of spaceship Earth at Epcot and Also overhaul Journey into the Imagination to bring back Dreamfinder and Figment. I love Disney.
